AuburnFury
I know they're supposed to be the best money making herb (which would purely be the reason for this) but I just can't see how you can come up on top with them. The seed costs so much more than the herbs, even with jujus and scroll of life I don't think I'd profit I must average around 7 or 8 herbs a patch even with said above items. Should I just stop being tight and invest in torstols? (Obviously i'll boost for now) Thanks
BloodAngel
Torstols are by far and away the most profitable herb at the moment, however they currently require you to average around 8 herbs per patch to profit so one death can cause you to make a loss. They also fluctuate a lot (the impending GWD update has sent them up). It is probably worth doing Torstols at the moment because of their value, however once they start to drop (and they will) I personally would go back to doing Snapdragons as their profit is fairly consistent and unless you have a farming disaster you should profit a decent amount every run. Quyneax
Torstols tend to require the best boosts available. Naturally you farm everything with supercompost and secateurs, and juju always helps a ton, but torstols require greenfingers or remote farming to be the best. That said, a 50 herb run is about 240k profit right now, 50 herbs + 1 seed is about 550k profit. You can average roughly 9-9.5 herbs including deaths, about 10-10.5 without (greenfingers counters disease on the first growth cycle, pretty much). Lord Paul
Farming calc Make a copy and adjust what you have. That will give you an idea of what combination of boosts (juju, SOL, etc) you need for torstol to be the best profit. 1 Working on max and completionist capes. 2435/2475
Platinum_Myr
I do them, they are worth it, even if I don't remote farm every single farming tick. I rarely end below 50vg per seed after 100 seeds (replanting the scroll of life seeds anyways) If you remote farm every single tick (so you have zero deaths 100%) then you will likely get a ton of profit, (assuming greenfingers 1 + jujus) Maxed since Sunday, January 9th, 2014Completionist since Wednesday, June 4th, 2014
