But have you ever had a message recently saying "Threat blocked" of some kind ?

For me it looks likes it's a malicious ad. What page did you have open in the SwiftKit when this alert appeared?

It poped up when I had swiftkit open on the Runescape Login page.

That's the LinkScanner, it's been triggering because of the RS applet window for a lot of users after the most recent update (and is notoriously well known for triggering on java games in general to be honest).

The general consensus is that it's safe, though you can never be 100 percent sure unless you have access to the source code.

I'm going to close this thread as a means to prevent a misunderstanding.

SwiftKit is safe to use.

The alert in question isn't directly related to SwiftKit but rather a method used by Jagex to display the applet. It is nothing to worry about. AVG says SwiftKit-RS[Caution: Executable File] because that is the name of the process, If you were running the old version of the Official RuneScape client (the stripped down internet explorer window) you would get the same results but with Runescape[Caution: Executable File].

If you have further concerns please by all means PM me and I will unlock the thread.
