October 31, 201213 yr Hello.I‘m paying for membership for my son every month and have done for a long time. Now he can‘t log in because someone hacked his account. Therefore we can not use or close the account. My son got a message on Facebook from another player, saying he has hacked his account. Can someone tell us what to do?
October 31, 201213 yr Try the password recovery form, it will just ask you for your username and email (from what I remember), and will send you a link to change your password. Then I'd suggest setting a PIN and perhaps Jagex Guardian. Hope this helps. Post as much detail as you possibly can (Log-in name, old passwords, subscription details, everything) and they should be able to help you sort out your account. Don't worry about it being visible, posts are automatically hidden on the FIRST THREAD I linked you to. LIVERPOOL WILL WIN THE PREMIER LEAGUE THIS SEASON. November 3, 201213 yr Having recently dealt with a very persistent hacker, I can say these threads are more than likely days upon days behind, and the best solution may be to email [email protected] and tell them to remove your billing information because you were hacked. This *may* illicit a faster response. I myself tried the forums and emailing [email protected]. The silence was deafening. Best of luck.
November 5, 201213 yr If it has been compromised recently, you might be able to salvage the account with minimal damage done to it. Refer to this thread that I made to help people specifically in this situation. :) [hide][hide][hide][hide][hide][hide][hide][hide][hide][hide][hide][hide][hide][hide][hide][hide][hide][hide][hide][hide][hide][hide][hide][hide][hide][hide][hide][hide][hide][hide]Never gonna give you up.[/hide][/hide][/hide][/hide][/hide][/hide][/hide][/hide][/hide][/hide][/hide][/hide][/hide][/hide][/hide][/hide][/hide][/hide][/hide][/hide][/hide][/hide][/hide][/hide][/hide][/hide][/hide][/hide][/hide][/hide]"We don't want players to be able to buy their way to success in RuneScape. November 5, 201213 yr [email protected] seems to be the fastest way to a response. I'm sure you will be able to recover the account. Whether that's in time to stop the theft of the items I'm not sure, it's already been 5 days. Good luck and remember to activate JAG as soon as you gain possession of the account back.
