farming runs

Farming is my lowest stat.

 

Can someone help me get into the routine of daily planting etc? i just can't seem to get into the rythmn of farming.

 

Are there any good guides on this?

 

I'm currently 66 farming but i havn't even trained it in so long i've forgotten what its even like.

 

Im almost 80+ every other stat but farming.. so i need to get it to catch up

herb farming every 75 minutes.. morchella mushrooms can be added every other run(fairy ring for easy access) trees once a day(possibly twice if you log early am and late day watermelons/flowers when you do herb runs

This guide is fairly old but still up-to-date, farming hasn't changed too much since juju. Remember to use Greenfingers (aura) when herb farming, even tier 1 is decent extra profit considering it's only 2k loyalty points or something.

Usually when i do farming run i grow fruit trees, trees and herbs.

 

Don't grow anything in allotment patch, its waste of time.

 

 

Herbs are fast and fruit trees and trees give a lot of exp

I do it the cheap way and plant willows, pineapples and watermelons everywhere I can (White lilies protecting the watermelons, which I can use to pay the gardeners for my pineapple trees.)

 

You don't need to pay the gardeners to protect your patches, but since it's so cheap for these trees, no reason not to.

 

You'll want to farm the best herbs you can if you need exp.

The cost is the same, regardless of the source.

Do the quest for Miscellenia to get free tree seeds and plant those. Also, you could Woodcut ivys and get them while training it. =) umm, you could do herb runs every hour and 30 mins and use the greenfingers aura to help so your patches dont have a chance of dying the first 20 mins :o you could plant watermelons and plant morchella mushrooms at canifis patch

They're not free if you get them from mtk ffs. At best, they cost the same, and that's if maples are the best use of resources.

Look at it like this:

 

You can do MTK, get 2m gp in resources for 750k gp spent, and 50k of your resources is farmable seeds, which you then farm. You sell the remaining resources.

Or you can buy 50k in farmable seeds, do MTK, get 2m gp in resources for 750k gp spent, and sell all of those resources, including 50k in farmable seeds.

 

There's really no difference. Getting seeds from a particular place doesn't affect their GE price, and their GE price is what you are losing (or gaining) during farming.

It only costs less if they have zero value to you otherwise. Ie use or drop.
