No.... He is trying to do them in the Chaos Tunnels.... which has absolutely nothing to do with the Waterfall quest.

You need to do the Hunt for Surok miniquest to get all of those portals to open up. They will be very helpful in the future.

I didn't know what he was talking about >.< and i said the waterfall quest for Hedgehogs comment lol incase thats what the area was he was asking about

So i can kill them in brimhaven dungeon? ill look into the quest for the portals

You can kill them in Brimhaven Dungeon but you'll be limited in AoE abilities & cannon because of the dogs etc. In the Chaos Tunels, you can't cannon. The third spot, in the Waterfall Dungeon, has no distractions and allows cannons. It's the best place to kill fire giants.

You'll waste cannonballs on the rats though :( (though you'll ironically get more xp per ball from the rats).

In real life MMO you don't get 99 smithing by making endless bronze daggers.

You'll get 0 xp from the rats unless you tag them. Please don't tag the rats.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm fairly certain you still get the combat XP from pure cannon kills. That's what I've noticed when cannoning DBs for example, it's only the slayer XP that's reduced.

Unless they changed it, you do not.

Would the Waterfall resource dungeon not be even better than the Waterfall room itself? There are no rats to waste ammo on and more Fire Giants anyway IIRC.

I beg to differ.

Yeah, you don't get exp from using a cannon but i still say to use a cannon in the waterfalls for Fire giants =[

Cannon in the dungeon resource room inside waterfall. Rarely has anyone there and nothing but firegiants :)
