Dragon bow ftw...I can dream can't I?

You can dream, yes, but a bow made out of metal wouldn't be able to fire well at all, it wouldn't be flexible enough ;)

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Idk about that a bowsword could work fairly well in firing since it'd be flexible, aye not as flexible as wood, but still would have a twang to it. Anyway, I'm going to laugh if it's a guy named cloud (FF7?) That'd be hilarious seeing all these people expecting some sort of thunder giant and it turning out to be this NPC your size with a huge 2H that just 3 hits you :P Anyway, my guess is it'll be a dragon pickaxe since there's already enough new item updates, with a pretty cruddy special, but will make people pile you if you're out mining rune in the wildy or mining at the mining guild.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Also, who's not to say that it isn't both the d2h and d pick lol I mean both are seen on the HS page, but a d warhammer I just don't see happening anytime soon, because that if anything is probably going to come out from the quest series at Keldagrim...due to dwarves being known to use war hammers throughout most RPG's.

another intriguing diea is that of having dragon ammunition... we have throwing axes/knives/darts/arrows up to rune? why not dragon???

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Not to shoot down your idea... but a dragon weapon you virtually have to risk heavily for and it ultimately disapears?

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Dragon Boomerang: Keeps coming back at you, but it requires an expensive upkeep cost every so often (im thinkin kinda like the crystal bow).

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

As for what i think the drop will actually be, I personally feel that it will drop a d2h, as there are many players who have been asking for a long time. Also, the dragon pickaxe will probably be dropped in a non-wilderness area like the dragon axe to avoid complaints by miners that Jagex is showing peference to woodcutters.

 

 

 

And i dont know how many times i have to post, but hallys and 2hs are pretty much the same stats. So dont lose sleep wondering what the 2h will be like (y)

 

 

 

Nah, Halberds have the same accuracy as the battle axe (way lower than 2h), and strength a bit lower than 2hs.

I think this may be a jagex attempt to put more people in the wilderness. To the people who claim that if it is multi combat wilderness, no one would go there because of pkers teams... What about the pker teams? They would have tons of fun fighting each other.

No they would fight the beast once they killed off any non clan members. Clans would pretty much 0wn the beast drops with noone else. Biggest best clan = get all new beast drops.

The windbeast is a monster that requires the breeding of a beast and a material monsters to be created and uses skills such as Infernos, Icebolt, and VacuSlash, and can be found in the ice kingdom.

OMG! I used to love that game!!!! I have DWM on an emulator. Windbeasts were one of my fav monsters, but I stick with things like Pheonix, Blizzard, Rainhawk, Goldgole, stuff like that.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

But back on topic, If its a 2h, imagine what the special could be.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I like the Cloud idea, but I highly doubt it would happen, even though he did have a pretty big sword. But maybe the special could be based off of one of his attacks.

It's going to be the dragon shortsword! The special lets you wield two shortswords at the same time or hit twice and takes 30% of bar. If you're wielding two swords, you hit twice everytime and hit 4 times with the special! 1-hit KO! The first shortsword that started out at 200mil!

It seems that the monster will be in multi-combat wild, which is interesting. That will mean that very few people would risk kill this monster, so it will be mostly deserted. But, if this monster drops something new and useful, the few clans strong and brave enough to kill it will be guaranteed wealth. I don't think putting the monster in wild is a bad idea, it's just a new level of challenge.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

It doesn't really affect me, I never kill the big monsters in this game and definitely wouldn't risk it in wild.

it probbably wont be claws or thrown axe since da rune ones have specs

 

 

 

Jagex loves messing with us, I swear they sit there and laugh at us going crazy in speculation of the updates.

Theres a problem with looting on this powerful of a monster.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

For one thing looters dont wear alot of things like armour, so with no armour and a monster stronger than kbd ur pretty much out of luck.

Some kind of rain cloud...

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

This seems to me that it's some form of weather elemental. Possibly a non melee-able boss?

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

ahhh and it would have the ultimate attack rain! the runescape citizens have never seen the likes of this before just think of the rusted armour.

wonder if it will come out this next monday, probably along with the treasure trails armours.
