do these bots auto bank? if not could you drop un-noted flax to fill up their inventories and just take the rune items which thy wouldnt be able to pick up? i'm guessing they bank but just checking, they just annoy the hell outta me and would be better to screw them up since jagex seems to be doing nada with them

They bank, but there's so many of them that any attempts to make them bank early doesnt really make a difference. They give shoddy slayer xp anyway just kill the low level ones.

Just use a foreign world. It's annoying and takes time to hop, but not much else you can do.

I share your frustrations. It is downright ridiculous how badly grotworms are botted... I think at one point I counted like 5 or 6 bots per spawn!

 

Hopping to foreign worlds helps, but there are an increasing number of bots there, too. Failing that, just kill the lower ones for easy points and move on. They're hardly a huge moneymaker and your slaying time could be better spent on other tasks.

Skip or kill the small ones

I was able to get ~500k per hour profit from Grotworms going from 60 to 70 ranged two weeks ago, when the bots hadn't recovered from the most recent update yet.

Ah, all these rune chainbodies and sq shields I didn't get!

 

The foreign worlds indeed are better, but expect to see bots there anyway.
