PolarBearBlue
I’m looking into collecting shards for an Armadyl battlestaff as I don’t dungeoneer a lot (I like to level my skill around the same base level) and do Glacors just for fun. But I wanna do Glacors a bit better. 1) I was wondering what a good ability bar for Glacors would be. I can’t show mine at the moment, but I can tell you that do have a stun as well as that death choking ability and Guthix’s blessing. I use 2 basics, stun, then 2 basic, stun until I build up adrenaline to use a threshold. I continue so using threshold each time I get the adrenaline for it. Is there a different way you suggest that would be better? 2) I use Akrisae’s set with ganodermic gloves/boots, Arcane steam, 6th age circuit, Guthix Cape, and Staff of Light. The spell I use is bloodfire blitz/barrage. I don’t have much money at all but I am considering buying full ganodermic. I also have a Sub top from ZGWD and will be getting full void again. However, at my stats I don’t feel comfortable using void. Should I still use void and if I don’t like it, upgrade to Ganodermic? 3) What specific spot inside the Glacor are good for killing them? Usually do the two right near the fairy ring. Ulysses
1 - The ability bar looks good with basic/stun. The rotation i use works well for me, but I'm sure someone will have better solution. But for now, I use combust-wrack-impact-wrack-conc blast-wrack (suppose the sonic wave could work too) as basics rotation, + variation of dragon breath/chain for glacyte. Asphyxiate usually if i have adren from previous kill before glacyte spawns, but otherwise usually the basics are more than enough for glacytes to spawn. Then asphyxiate afterwards usually kills glacor if not with an additional wrack. 2 - Void works wonder. Gano would work as well if you are more comfortable with it. Also i use dw as opposed to 2h but that could be just personal preference. 3 - Idk. Hope this helps a little bit. 'Time you enjoy wasting is not wasted time.' T.S. Dreezer
1. ability bar: i have wrack, sonic wave, impact, combust, dragon breath (to finish off unstable glacyte), wild magic, asphyxiate, metamorphosis, guthix blessing, soulsplit (prayers), 2 unused spots 2. i personally use void, because if you have soulsplit, the added offense heals you enough to compensate the lost defense (only if u have soulsplit ofcourse) 3. best spot if you are not really sure is deeper in the cave, there you have a solid mass in the middle that you can use to block the glacor while dealing with the glacytes. This should really reduce the damage taken during that fase hope this helps :) Sacrificing efficiency for fun since 1991
Quyneax
Impact isn't very good, even with the increased damage from Wrack. Concentrated blast and Combust are very good. You have more adrenaline than you know what to do with normally, magic ults are very underwhelming, so just use Wild Magic and Asphyxiate both and if using dual wield magic you can use Revenge on the glacyte stage to also heal a bit with Resonance, not sure if it works on unstable exploding.
