Most of us here go to barrows, but we all take different items with us, and have have different tactics. What's yours?

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

• [*:1jic0mmw]Prayer Potions. I usually use 2 doses, but just to be safe.
   
   
   
  (I bring one 4 dose, and one potion with the lowest dose amout. Ex: one 4 dose and one 2 dose)[*:1jic0mmw]Holy Wrench. Only one extra pray point, but meh, couldn't hurt.[*:1jic0mmw]Monk Robes, Unholy Symbol and White Boots. For prayer bonus, so I use less Prayer Potions.

I pray on D'harok, Verac, Karil and Arhim. On the rest, I don't. In the tunnels I usually get a 10-20 kill count.

and btw did you know slayer dart isnt affected by your magic bonus

yea i just found that out awhile ago too so i was happy. I never knew but i always wondered why i was hitting 15's and 16's with almsot full rune on lol... still waiting for it to be verified by jagex rather than reputable players

No, no. The magic bonus effects how often you hit. You magic level effects how high.

Kostya, just FYI, you'd be more efficient if you didn't pray against Ahrim; as long as you have black hides (and 70 defense is quite sufficient), he'll only hit you once or twice.

switch your monks robe for initiate armor? same prayer bonus, SOME melee def on initiate lol. Just a suggestion tho...

Yeh, I know. Sometimes he hits nothing on me, but sometimes he makes me waste 5 lobs.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

And I don't waste P Pot doses on him. I use the 16-22 pray points I have left over from the other 3 on him, and get him to near dead. Then I just switch to dragonhide.

invent: rune pl8, red d hide top and bottoms, mage shorrt. spade ecto, minds deaths, 2 prayer pots and rest lobbies. pray on dharock karil and ahrim, torag guthan without prayer. verac goes behind a mage spot in the tunnels. meh easy. i'm only lvl 86 btw, 64 mage

I hit 19s with slayer dart :o

 

 

 

And i cant believe that mage bonus doesnt affect the accuracy / damage done by slayer dart, I always use full mystic anyways :)

What is the green book u got in ur inventory?

i'm so poor that i would go 3 item rune pl8 dds and rune legs. Load of lobbies and 5 prayer pots lol

I got really annoyed almost quit, borrowed mystic from a friend went back and got Torag legs, Torag plate, 2 Guthan helms, Karils coif and Veracs helm after 50 trips so i'm now back in business. Also i take infinity gloves and boots now and rune instead of torags.

Its 55 slayer for magic dart but well worth it. Also dont give up i average an item every 15 trips or so but if you have i dry spell it usually means your due for a few good items. I have spent alot on supplies for barrows but it was worth it and i have made a fair bit of profit.

Nice setup, but why do you have the Chaos with you?

i dont bank between trips and this was after some trips. I only get 6 kill count thats why there is no bloods or racks incase you were wondering.

tommy what staff is that?

It is a slayer staff, 55 slayer required to weild and you need it for magic dart spell.

you guys use tons of pray pots! i only use like a dose every 3-4 trips

i use about 6 doses a trip, but i dont bank so i dont recharge my prayer every trip. It could be done with no prayer pots on anceints but i tried that it ended up costing more in runes per run than it would in prayer pots so i went back to magic dart. Also last time i went on anceints i was running a virus scan... lagged badly and got owned (you may have notice i die alot :oops:).
