May 10, 201313 yr So i've got this black dragon task, and thinking of spicing it up with some kbd soloing. As i look at the guide on the tip.it page, its outdated so no good for me there :E Stats: 99 melees and hp, 95 pray, 91 summ, 94 range and 98 mage. And herb 91 if someone cares. It has no weakness so i think either melee or mage Melee: bandos with z spear/ss/whip+eee Mage: Gano with SOL and fire surge Am i anywhere near the right gear? NOTE: I have no chaotics/money to get drygores/nex gear
May 10, 201313 yr I guess you'd be best off using mage since you get t80 damage from fire surge. Or ranged I guess i you have a royal crossbow. But yeah, if you're dead set on doing black dragons tasks a different way then might be worth looking at QBD. May 10, 201313 yr Author Never done QBD, im a noob at PVM since EOC really :/. As i don't have a royal cbow just because of no QBDing, what would be the best alternative? Atm i have hand cannon and crystal bow for ranging. E: Does anyone ever team QBD anymore at my levels or is it just solo for everyone?

May 10, 201313 yr The KBD is pretty easy to kill to now just remember super anti-fires. I'm not sure on the very best way to kill it just maximise your offence which in your case sounds like its probably mage.. Just remember antipoison and antifires, the respawn time on the KBD is very long though it does drop a nice amount of crimsons. May 10, 201313 yr Assuming the KBD respawn timer is pretty slow and hopefully it isnt too crowded, try getting two friends to stay on free worlds and quickhop between them. May 10, 201313 yr Author Meh i'll just go try both of them for a few kills, king sounds easier so that first. Just to check how long i can last there with mage. Then first time QBD, never thought i'd do that :o. So is it just basic karils w/ hand cannon for QBD? Im poor
May 10, 201313 yr Superantifire doesn't reset when hopping, that's jujus only. Karil + hc should work for QBD, bring your royal crossbow, forge, then use that afterwards. It's the best t80 weapon for you (extremely cheap, good range). You could also get the 100k tokens for a main hand claw and use that with ee. May 11, 201313 yr Claw is better because they all have the same DPS, but claw has an additional crit bonus.Plus, it'd allow you to momentum without losing DPS since both Claw and EE are fastest.
