Hey guys, could any1 help me in what to do in the fight caves seeing this is my first attempt?

I wanna do it with mage i have 81mage and 71 defence, and i dont know what spells should i use (i have ancient magicks), what gear should i buy with only 1.5m for it, and what should i take on the inventory

Training to 75 def for Gano would definitely be worth your time.

Happen to have a lot of dungeoneering points or a friend willing to lend you any gear? What's your herb level?

If you can stretch your budget a little, Ahrim's + staff of light is about 2.5m. If Ahrim's is not an option, you can use grifolic armour, but that's quite a bit worse.

 

You should probably get the staff of light anyway, as it's under 300k for a level 75 weapon. Use it with abilities and your highest level ancient spell.

 

Inventory-wise: super magic potions & prayer renewals (2 each), prayer potions/super restores (about 8), runes and rocktails (16).

I tried a few moment ago with batwing, but as is a saw i was getting hit alot, i quited that, is grifolic better?

In between waves you can use healing abilities to cut down on food usage, depends if your stamina w/e lasts between rounds, I can't remember

 

Also it probably is worth asking to borrow subjugation robe top off somebody using the lend system, damage boost, better offence and defence, prayer bonus too I think

Yeah, but the waves suceed quickly one after the other it doensn't have time, and unfortunely i dont have any friend with subjugation robe top.

Go to the west side of the map and stand in the spot that you will use when Jad spawns, plenty of time to heal using abilities then because nothing can attack you unless it spawns directly to the south. Also, get better gear, it's really not that hard of a battle just long, if you have to take breaks in between levels and stay concentrated. It's easier than you think, just organize who to kill when.

when i did it i got very nervous because i was getting hitted very regulary. I bought grifolic armour is it good?

So i sold my polypore and bought a staff of light, than i received 6m and bought ahrim's, i'm gonna post my current setup.

Atm, sara brews heal me more than rocktails, as i only have 76hp, why did u recommend that?

Because you'll lose a lot of power if you use brews (and brews cost a lot more), but brews may be the best anyway. I don't know how much super brews cost at the moment (too much probably), but those would heal 4800 lp per slot.

 

Annoyingly there are no useful foods in the whole 71-79 range, only at 80 you get sharks and a ton of other foods, such as baron sharks (2100 lp/bite).

The armour and LP increase from Dragon boots and grifolic gloves compared to Skeletal are negligible, might as well increase your damage output IMO.

Yeah, unless you find that you're getting to Jad easily then dying on switching. That happens quite a bit.
