August 21, 201312 yr I am a long time player and I want to return to the game. I played through EOC, but I took a break this summer and totally missed the "Runescape 3" update. What all do I need to know about this update? What did it do? What are the need-to-know tricks of the trade currently? Did combat change any? Any and ALL advice greatly appreciated! Thanks, karnsy81
August 21, 201312 yr Welcome back! If you actually have a grasp on the EOC system then nothing should be too different or confusing for you. RS3 was basically just a graphical and interface rework from what I understand. Try looking at all of the default interface set-ups they have then customising one for your own needs. Pressing "L" will lock or unlock your interface so you can move things around quickly when needed. "M" also opens your map, which isn't that useful but worth mentioning.

Marked with an *, only use if you can hit 2+ targets. Why would you use snapshot over bombard? Doesn't bombard do 219% damage vs 200% damage (or does snap shot do more than weapon damage per shot)?
August 23, 201312 yr Ah true. Well, I tend to save Bombard for when it can hit 2+ targets anyway. But yes, strangely it's single-target is better than Snap Shot >.>.
