peggyhill666
So my adventure for Rso7 continues, I've still done ton of experimenting with making cash through out 07, and i've gotten myself to nice cash stack to train my skills with. however, I've noticed through experimenting with rs07 merchanting, People are seeming to buy there items for much lower in huge bulks from what it seems to be gold farmer accounts? I'm not sure of this but, I was curious how are these players getting into contact with these gold farming accounts? arent they bot ran?
wolfmon56
There's a human behind every script. No matter if an account that is "mass farming" gold is a scripted bot or a human, there is ALWAYS someone who is in control of the account, the content on it, and what happens to that content. Peever
I highly doubt the people buying the items know they are coming from "gold farming" accounts.

Sumpta
I highly doubt the people buying the items know they are coming from "gold farming" accounts. Either you're being sarcastic or naïve. The trouble is, we don't have much of a choice. Getting levels simply requires tons of raw materials that no legit player is going to farm. It's how rs is built. I currently need 100k pure essence, and that's for just a few rc levels. I'd love to buy them from a legit player, but chances are I'll get them from a bot, or at best, a mercher who got them from a bot/gold farming account. Not sure how it can be helped tbh.

You always have a choice. When in doubt and concerned about this issue, you go mine them yourself. Frankly, I wouldn't bother doing so myself. I almost MISS having bots around, as they kept resource prices relatively low and I never found myself competing with them.. But I could understand it ruining others people game experience, so guess I'd agree on action being taken against them.
la la la
I highly doubt the people buying the items know they are coming from "gold farming" accounts. Where else would I buy tree/torstol seeds? Supply is way too low from legitimate players. I'll never bot on my own character, but I'm not going to sit around and ignore the items pretty much only obtainable in bulk from bots.
ixfd64
It depends on where they're buying from. Gold sellers generally fall into two main types: those that work for companies, and personal sellers (such as stakers and merchants) who happen to be rich. Jordxx
I've had gold-farmers/mass scripters sell me thousands of seeds. A few months ago I made about 80M merchanting ranarr seeds in three days. I would put offers up on Zbz for 1-5k ranarr seeds bulk only for a very, very low price and it normally didn't take long to find a seller. They always wanted to talk via Skype, e-mail or IM too. It was odd. I felt like I was buying cocaine or something, all under-the-table and stuff. 1 My first (unfinished) website: www.high-mind.comI only play Old School RS. I buy/sell a lot of seeds; add me if you're interested.OS RSN: JordxxMy CML: http://crystalmathlabs.com/tracker/track.php?user=jordxx (Click 'update')
