WutangFlu Posted February 20, 2006 Share Posted February 20, 2006 yeah.. may sound dumb, im 15, almost 16 (couple months) and im sick of acne/pimples/black heads/white heads... you name it.. How do i get rid' of these things? specifically for each of them.. i dont have much.. barley any infact compared to some guys i know. i use soaps(1-3 daily).. pads.. and creams now and then, they work to an extent.. how can I can i stop this crap, its prolly my worst pet peeve, i dont know why... i know there some of you who prolly have gone through this. it annoys me... thank you have a good day :P Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I had some mild acne in junior high through my freshmen year. I never did anything about it, but it eventually just went away (pretty gradually). I know some people that have never had it, but then you see those people in their 30's on the ProActive commercials, where absolutely nothing helped them for 15 years :? Astralinre Posted February 20, 2006 Share Posted February 20, 2006 I don't know about y'all, but I kind of enjoy getting a huge white head just because they're so much fun to pop. :oops: Anyway, I've got naturally oily skin, so acne's been a problem for me for about 3-4 years (I'm 16 now). Lately, I've started using that Neutrogena stuff, and it's worked much better than anything else. It also seems to help that I have to shave alot (well, compared to most guys I know that are my age). I guess it just opens up the pores more which makes then easier to clean out. Sparknotes: Use that Neutrogena stuff to wash your face after you shave. Peter Posted February 20, 2006 Share Posted February 20, 2006 Well if you're washing your face 3 times a day, that could a problem. When you wash your face a lot your oil glands actually produce a lot more oil than normal and that is a main cause of acne. Also just never touch your face, at all except when you wash it. I use a mild soap in the shower every morning like Neutrogena cleanser that gets rid of oil and dirt, and wash with a washcloth every evening before bed. If it's bad at all you can go to your doctor and they can give you topical stuff, it works pretty well. I don't really get bad acne but somehow I got some stuff that works whenever I get a pimple or two. I don't really know how to get rid of them specifically, but use an exfoliator to get rid of dead skin and clean into pores and kind of get rid of black heads. Also its not a big deal to ask a dermatologist about it, or even your family doctor should know a fair amount on how to help. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Girls ahve it worse though, there's nothing uglier than seeing a girl's face form up close, and it's all bumpy from pimples and scars and it looks like she just gresed it up it's so ugly. I havn't had a breakout in over a year now but I do get the occasional pimple if I drink a large amount of pop. Mainly the reason why I stopped drinking it nearly all together. I hate it and I'm tired of all the stuff I've tried that only worked to a certain extent. Basically I've just given up. All I can really say it pray that it goes away... AARGH so annoying I had one of these and went to the doctor about it. Its gonna sound kinda painful, but the only way to get rid of it is to put ice on it. No cream is gonna work on it (i tried for almost 3 weeks to rid it using soap and good skin cream). Just place some ice on the spot for as long as you can atleast like 3 times a day, should go away.
