Blutters Posted October 26, 2014 Share Posted October 26, 2014 At the moment, I'd like to QBD using Ranged.I have main and off-hand Chaotic Crossbows, Royal Crossbow, Dragonbane Bolts, and Death Lotus Darts.Which of the above should I wield on each hand to be most effective? Arceus Posted October 26, 2014 Share Posted October 26, 2014 Dragonbane arrows and bolts give a significant boost to accuracy, enough to provide near 100% hit chance with a royal crossbow. They should be used if the player lacks accuracy. Off-hand Death lotus darts and a chaotic or ascension crossbow loaded with dragonbane bolts will give the best damage output, as the darts are calculated with the passive damage boost of Bane ammos additively and not separately.So it looks like chaotic/dragonbane for best damage, and royal if you want accuracy. Good luck to ya.Dual ASC w/ dbane is going to be almost the exact same as dw chaotic with dbane, due to equal accuracy functionally, and same damage due to the bolts. They never miss on dragons, which is why most people choose to take decent ranged gear, like pernix/sirenic, and royal/dccb or even asc with dbane bolts to get the fastest kill time possible.
