August 11, 201510 yr Ok so i am going to be doing slayer, with some occasional pvm (not high level stuff) which would be better for me to get a nox scythe or dual asc? ~~~legoman187~~~ Clicky siggy for blogThanks Pendonub for fancy new sigThieving guide[WIP]Loyal player since May 2005 and member since November 2005 and Tifer for many years~~~legoman187~~~
August 11, 201510 yr Scythe is good for slayer and gwd.If you are going to do anything more than gwd, you'd need ascensions Runescape player since 2005 Ego Sum Deus Quo Malum Caligo et Barathum
August 11, 201510 yr Author So right now i am sitting at 2 votes ascension and 1 vote scythe. it would also help to note that i have the dw/2h counterpart of each style already ~~~legoman187~~~ Clicky siggy for blogThanks Pendonub for fancy new sigThieving guide[WIP]Loyal player since May 2005 and member since November 2005 and Tifer for many years~~~legoman187~~~
August 12, 201510 yr MH asc + OH dld with dbane bolts is probably the best setup you can get for dragon tasks. If I'm not wrong, the dragonbane boost to ability damage stacks on top of everything, which makes it a superior choice to ranged with araxyte arrows/ascension bolts. In real life MMO you don't get 99 smithing by making endless bronze daggers.
August 12, 201510 yr Author hmmm, well i dont get terribly many dragon tasks. but mh asc only is an option that i didnt think about ~~~legoman187~~~ Clicky siggy for blogThanks Pendonub for fancy new sigThieving guide[WIP]Loyal player since May 2005 and member since November 2005 and Tifer for many years~~~legoman187~~~
August 13, 201510 yr Scythe's aoe and berserker tend to be the fastest ways to do tasks. Dual ascs aren't any better except for like dragons and ascensions. Scythe or Drygores are a must have before Dual ascs.
