magix_fenix
I found a safe spot for damis :) this is way easier than entangle him, and this way you dont need a friend. the rats block damis :P
wakka102
very cool find. I used prayer on him and killed him without any trouble at all.

Satenza
Another way for level 60 or so players to kill damis is to equip a dds and poison damis, run around to the little curl you see in the picture, curled path. He will follow you, but not all the way. So poison him, run, watch until poison has worn off, re-poison and repeat. With so many trees in the city you could see the spring coming each day until a night of warm wind would bring it suddenly in one morning. Sometimes the heavy cold rains would beat it back so that it would seem that it would never come and that you were losing a season out of your life. But you knew that there would always be the spring as you knew the river would flow again after it was frozen. When the cold rains kept on and killed the spring, it was as though a young person had died for no reason. In those days though the spring always came finally but it was frightening that it had nearly failed.
onauric
Ya, I remember bats blocking him for me too. Was like third try or something for me and I was so happy back then being lvl 80-85 or something. Lol. :P Rsn: Onauric Combat: 136 Total: 2150+ All quests done since: 3rd December 2005
scopium
im level 79, and i beat Damis just the other day using the torch spot, then every once in awhile Id Snare him and Fire Bolt him like crazy (it took me like 4 tries to get it right, then I faced Dessous who was so much easier). Nice find, i hope it gets good recognition.

pseudolus413
This is a little off topic, but Satenza, the quote in your signature is wrong, its actually "The greatest trick the devil ever played." As for the Desert Treasure quest, I suppose I should do it soon since I just hit 65 Slayer and can now take on Dust Devils.
mysteriousme16
thats cool, i dont spose anyone could take screenies of how to defeat all the bosses, i want to have a stab at dt sometime soon and about that safe spot, he really cant get down there? Anyway, those who used prayer, I don't believe parayer has any effect on Damis - he hits right through it and drains it. It would seem like a waste of prayer pots or stat restore if you brought them. When I did it I just took a dds and did a side-step after I led him in the cave entrance, I think he only hit me twices with those claws of his. I don't believe you need DT to use the smokey well... you don't need to have beaten desert treasure, but you need to have started the quest and gotten to the point where you used the scrying glasses, otherwise you'll get a message like 'what reason do i have to go down there' or something like that.
