If adults knew how to eat, then obesity wouldn't be a problem, would it?

What I was getting at more-so is at this age, I know what is good for me and what isn't, and I chose what to eat. Many obese people know what they are doing, they just don't want to go through the trouble to stop it.

it's so easy to eat healthy, the problem is...you have to think about it ahead of time. you have to say - okay, this week i'll have a banana each day with a sandwich for lunch. then you repeat this with breakfast and dinner and any snacks. now you have to go shop for a bunch of bananas and a loaf of bread and some sort of meat, and whatever you decided on for breakfast and dinner. from what i can tell, most people would rather pull into a restaurant (usually fast food, because who has an hour or more to devote to one meal?) and choose from a list of already designed meals.

i just think it's something you have to learn on your own, it helps once you start living on your own. i generally spend more for gas in one day than i do for my meals, and my commute is what i would call average length.

Well, for now they have been fine. However, a new law passed a little ago made it so that schools can no longer sell items such as Ice Cream, chips cookies or anything else that might be unhealthy.

its not unhealthy in small amounts, just the amounts that most people who eat them aren't exactly small.

i will happily admit i am overweight, i eat perfectly happily, and i excersise. but my body only has to look at a lettuce leaf and i get fat.

i would love to be thinner, but i think i'll just haveto except this will not happen overnight.

i will much prefer eating a plate of veggies, than chips/curries etc. (i do love curries tho)

Ice-cream is just pure fat (cream) with a bit of protein in with added sweetners in it so I would say it would be unhealthly in quantities. But then again everythings unhealthy in large quantities healthy food is a balanced diet.
