Well... uh... I was browsing about on the board earlier today, and I noticed that the majority of the users has a new sig.

 

 

 

So, I figured I would inaugurate the new forum with a new sig, too.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

And I also wanted to continue making something "smiley-related". So, this is the result:

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I made it in Adobe Photoshop 7.0.

 

 

 

It's a sort of concept-art, and you may interpret it however you like. I had a blast making it, anyway.

If you don't mind me be blunt Azvi, I will be. I don't think this is up to par with some of the other things I have seen you do. You are a very talented artist, and to be completely honest your full capabilities aren't shown in this piece. I applaud the effort, but I think you are capable of alot better. I think one of the reasons for this is that it looks too metallic. Nice work anyway though. :)

Well, the thing is, I don't feel like opening Bryce and make some wh*reish-render, nor do I feel like spending hours upon hours brushing in Photoshop, on something I probably won't like anyway; neither do I have the energy to do it, nor do I have the inspiration it requires.... etc.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

This is how it usually goes: "Hey, I feel like making something in Photoshop!" and once I have everything infront of me... it just stands still. Because to be honest, there isn't much I can do that haven't already been done, and in order to make something completely new, it requires skills - and I simply don't have those right "skills" yet.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

In this piece, I did something not many people here have done... at least not the ones from the Huang/Silent-era.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

So I'm sorry to disappoint you Keiph, but I'm not really capable of doing anything better than this. I've already shown you all what I am capable of - and right now... I'm sort of stuck in a vicious circle so it may take a while before I make something as "good" as this again.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

And as for the balls looking metallic was sort of the point.. like them metallic marbles ; if I would make the glassy-like, people would accuse me of being a Huang rip-off. :P

There are those times i get though where im working on something, and i acidently do something while im messing around with it and i'm like "sweeet" I've found out a lot of neat tricks that way :D
