Improve Crossbows

I agree fully with this idea.... I used to use crossbows, but then I swithched to regular bows (this was 1.5 years ago). I have never used a crossbow since... they are very, very underpowered, I think then only time any ranger (or in that case any person) uses one is for the dragon slayer quest, and then they never use one again. Also it would be nice to fletch them. :D

Also add a feature that is only bought at the Ranging Guild for 10k, that makes the crossbow fire 3 bolts in one shot. And they fire more accuratly. Plus, they could make you hold the crossbow on your shoulder, instead of on the side. Hmm... maybe also have poisoned bolts and Scatter bolts. Bolts with circular heads that, when on impact, cause regular damage, plus two more splashes of damage for shrapnel.

why would you need a rune crossbow.. it would be the same as a normal one because the metal part woudn't really do anything. It does't make the bow shooter faster or hit harder so i see no point of making different types of metals for the bow. Different types of ammunition is what is needed not changing the bow.

The tensile strength of the metal is what propels the bolt and thus gives the crossbow its power. Firing a slightly harder piece of ammunition at the same speed isn't going to achieve much.
