March 13, 200620 yr If you had bothered looking you would of found the sticky on the Media forum that links to a tutorial.
March 13, 200620 yr Author Well sorry If you hadn't noticed im new to the forums. Ill try that, thanks!
March 14, 200620 yr ya, but LP isn't there a computer program that you can make pixels on? Microsoft Paint. Gamertag: King Arizona
March 14, 200620 yr A "pixel sig" is just a collection of coloured dots drawn in a program such as MS Paint. There is no magical program that takes a pictures and makes it into a pixel sig. March 14, 200620 yr Author well yea i no theres not magical program but i didn't now mcpaint could do that thanks guys~
March 15, 200620 yr Author hey~ i can't find mcpaint on my comp anywhere(i feel really stupid right now). Is it hiding somewhere?
March 15, 200620 yr It's called MS Paint, not mcpaint. It can normally be found in Start -> Programs -> Accessories or Start -> Run -> mspaint -> OK. If you can't find it using either way then you will need to install it from the Windows Components section of Add/Remove Programs.
March 15, 200620 yr Author well i found one that is called "paint". Just "paint". Its under start>programs>accsesories>Is it the same thing? Thanks
March 15, 200620 yr Yes it is the same thing. It's a program called Paint created by MicroSoft, hence "MS Paint".
March 15, 200620 yr Jeez do a little bit of investigation youself next time before asking questions yeah? Mercifull <3 Suzi "We don't want players to be able to buy their way to success in RuneScape. March 16, 200620 yr Would it be cheeky to advertise my tutorial? click if your interested... 8) http://forum.tip.it/viewtopic.php?p=2695779#2695779
March 16, 200620 yr Yeah, terleys tut is great, but to sum it up, really basicly.... pencil drawing>linework>basic coloring(dump some colors in the lines)>shade it(zoom in and draw a darker color inside the linework, getting progreesivly lighter as you go inward) And thats the very basics for starters http://jdpr.deviantart.com/
March 19, 200620 yr Author Ya thanks, That tutorial helped alot! one question though? If I scan a picture onto my comp then trace the lines how do i remove the picture that i scanned on there so that only the pixel copy is showing?
March 19, 200620 yr Author I no im not going to post it i was just trying to see if i could do it. Anyone no how?
March 19, 200620 yr If you were going to scan and trace you would have to use a different program, other than MS Paint. Use a program that uses layers, like Jasc Paint Shops Pro, or Photoshop. If you don't know what layers are, or don't have one of those programs, don't even bother scanning and tracing, unless you are an AMAZING artist, and really good with images on a computer too. Those are expensive programs ;)
March 19, 200620 yr Dont do it, it wont look good, and it wont help you get any better at pixeling http://jdpr.deviantart.com/
