ShadowFire
when is the Meat Tenderiser accessed in the chest and which subquest must be done? EDIT:whats its speed? You have to do either all eight subquests or the Ogre one, I'm not sure which. I got it after doing the 8th one, which was the Ogre. You don't need to do the bosses though. Speedwise, it's certainly slower than a scimmy, but it doesn't seem anywhere near as slow as a battleaxe. I'll do a test in a few mins, but I'd say it's about the speed of a mace. Edit: I've tested it against a Fremennik Blade (basically a long) and it's certainly slower. I've got no battleaxe or mace to test it against, but I'd say it's battleaxe speed. Guest anbuwolffy
do these items have a use other than looking cool (is waiting for a tip.it guide before starting the quest)
ShadowFire
Well they can be used as weapons, although none of them are that impressive the Meat Tenderiser is one handed and I think it has the largest crush attack of any one handed weapon. I don't think anyone has found any other effects or uses for them though. Oh and thanks Stuart :)
Stuart_G
They supposedly have an effect on the monsters the culinaromancer summons in the final fights. But i couldnt be bothered testing this theory :P Heh, helping people out makes me feel all warm inside :)
ShadowFire
Well I doubt anyone would do that, you only fight them once and you don't even get the Cleaver until you beat the bosses. I was too busy trying to stay alive than to try and whisk them to death XD
Umega
When do you get that meat tenderizer? I've done 6/8 subquests so far and can't get it yet. No longer playing Runescape, I caught the WoW bug.

You have to do all eight subquests, or the Ogre subquest. I'm not sure which as the Ogre was my 8th subquest.

ShadowFire
Yeah it is. Don't be fooled into paying a lot of money for them though. I've seen a few people at World 2 Fally paying 450k for the Meat Tenderisers, then not being able to wield them (you must have access to the weapon to wield it, but it can be traded)
