when is the Meat Tenderiser accessed in the chest and which subquest must be done?

EDIT:whats its speed?

You have to do either all eight subquests or the Ogre one, I'm not sure which. I got it after doing the 8th one, which was the Ogre. You don't need to do the bosses though.

Speedwise, it's certainly slower than a scimmy, but it doesn't seem anywhere near as slow as a battleaxe. I'll do a test in a few mins, but I'd say it's about the speed of a mace.

Edit: I've tested it against a Fremennik Blade (basically a long) and it's certainly slower. I've got no battleaxe or mace to test it against, but I'd say it's battleaxe speed.

Well they can be used as weapons, although none of them are that impressive the Meat Tenderiser is one handed and I think it has the largest crush attack of any one handed weapon.

I don't think anyone has found any other effects or uses for them though.

Oh and thanks Stuart :)

Edit: The high alch for the meat tenderiser is 24,900gp.

What a waste of my geepee that was :P

The Hi alch value of anything is 1.5 times the general

store value of that object when 0 are in stock.

Yeah it is. Don't be fooled into paying a lot of money for them though. I've seen a few people at World 2 Fally paying 450k for the Meat Tenderisers, then not being able to wield them (you must have access to the weapon to wield it, but it can be traded)
