I think it's pretty good, but the top part needs to be a bit shorter, and the bottom flatter... it looks like one of those weebles we get as kids, you know, those things that you would hit, and they wouldn't fall o.O

Anyways, not bad. I once tried drawing potions... I ended up with a circle. His name was Billy. ;D

What's wrong with the top? Looks like a stopper to me. But it looks more like a perfume bottle with that type stopper than a potion. I always think of potions with a plain cork. But that's just me.

 

 

 

You have the shading concept down. Keep at it. :)

It's not bad for a first, but like others said, you used way too many colors.

 

 

 

You could have cut down half of those colors using dithering. http://www.spriteart.com , look it up on there.

It's ok for first pixel. Add some shine or an effect to show it's encases in transparent glass; not just sitting inside an invisible flask.
