Thankfully I sold my two rares (Green Mask and Santa) when the prices peaked at 10 and 8 mil respectively. Now I'm proudly the owner of full infinity + mage book + master wand... in my eyes a safe bargain. Prices for those items are pretty stable. The best purchase I've ever made I think... I've NEVER owned any decent mage armour.

And yes, all 3 masks went down from their very high and quick rise.

 

(I sold one 45m, next day they were 43...then 42...41...etc...muajaja)

That is why people get mad at "merchants", because they're smart and sell high :lol:

I doubt the decline in prices will continue. (not sure how valid this thread is in the first place)

 

 

 

The less supply, the more demand for it. (prices go up)

 

 

 

There is no way to increase the supply so in theory prices can't go down.

 

 

 

Mass bans or mass extermination (high alch, etc.) of an item are both causes of inflation in prices.

Couldn't agree more. Though also I would say that the bad merchants also sell at a price which is good for the buyer and not a bit higher thus making the rare (espcially with santas) stay at the same price or drop a little for a period of time. That really bugs me when they do that. :wink:

I found my original santa on the floor of fally east bank a little over a year ago...

well I tried to sell it, and I got money.

 

 

 

I merched it and then I got 2 santas and it went on from there.

 

 

 

Most santas I ever had was 5.

 

 

 

2 got scammed, but the 3 got me even with the loses so I didnt lose money.

 

 

 

 

 

I still keep one santa in my bank, and I will never ever sell that hat. <3
