i think that runescape should create a writing skill so people can write books and on paper BUT it should b a f2p skill and p2p skill because im f2p and it would be great to make books and write things that you might need 2 keep 4 a clan

if you are member, i don't think that you gonna pay every month just to write a book.

I think u should need the crafting skill to make the books, the better they are, the longer they can be.

 

 

 

- Writting could be done by anybody on a new book.

 

- On an already writted book, only the creator can edit it.

 

 

 

 

 

This way persons could write down hints or even sell their knowledge!

 

 

 

But it would lead to some (lots of) scams . . . . :?

We have that skill in real life, it's called English.

Or, you could just open a word processor, and go from there :P If you want others to read it, post it on some forums.

I kind of like the idea but people would say stuff like, "SELLING MY KNOWLEDGE ON HOW TO MAKE MILLIONS!" All the book would say is, "HAHAHA YOU GOT SCAMMED!" If this idea was put into the game Jagex could introduce a book store. It would be like a general store except only for books. People would be able to buy blank books (for writing), sell books to the shop, buy books from the shop (some pre made and others from players) The shops could be in Varrock, Fally, and EA

waste of a skill. reading books in runescape stinks anyways so why would people want to make there own. Just post you info on a forum. It would be easier for people to read. and your stories will get viewed by more people then a book in game.

Me, i'd write lots of riddles and clues that lead to the middle of nowhere, and i'd drop those books all around rs and people will pick them up and follow the riddle, and it'd be some new cult thing! :lol:

I think that a book store would be in order, as x_Mindless_x. Perhaps say you have to have been playing for X amount of time to have books available in a book store.

 

 

 

Books, of course would be cheap - maybe give authors the ability to put their books into catagories. Users can browse the catagories, looking at titles. Users could also do searches on keywords.

 

 

 

Another idea would be to have people at JAGeX validate and catagorize books.

 

 

 

Books are sold to stores for no money, but the player recieves royalties for every book sold, and can pick up their royalties at the store.

:lol: looks awesome, it could be like "bookaholics" some obscure clan. "Ok guys this week the books say to go to the middle of lvl 55 wilderness 3:00 PST in world 70 and wait for a guy named "Pure pker" to come meet us and give us free stoofs (heh). :lol: :? :roll:

I dont really think people would enjoy spending their time writing books.
