Satenza
Guys, no need to flame him. He's just sharing how he does barrows. There is--believe or not--more than one way to do it. Thats a lie, theres only my way. :o :) With so many trees in the city you could see the spring coming each day until a night of warm wind would bring it suddenly in one morning. Sometimes the heavy cold rains would beat it back so that it would seem that it would never come and that you were losing a season out of your life. But you knew that there would always be the spring as you knew the river would flow again after it was frozen. When the cold rains kept on and killed the spring, it was as though a young person had died for no reason. In those days though the spring always came finally but it was frightening that it had nearly failed.

bflitny1
Sorry everyone, I've been busy all day, zammy robes is a great idea, thnx for that! And bjkzsnfnk I use prayer pots to make sure I'm never low on HP, and I find you can do more trips with them, and you what, they aren't exactly expensive when you're doing barrows, the money you make far out ways the price of supplies, I will still use prayer pots when I'm 115 combat, after that, maybe not, I don't know yet. aafftteerr
Zammy robes give +6 prayer (3 each), while monk robes give 11(5 and 6). Slayer Dart isn't greatly affected by your magic bonus, so you might as well stock up on prayer bonus. That way, the only real way you'll lose prayer quickly is when the brothers drain it. bflitny1
Hey thnx beanso, I wrote this guide for people like you appreciate it, I just ignore the flaming. And I checked the zammy robes for prayer bonus and whoever said they give +6, you were right, so don't anyone go using zammy robes. Drops: Barrows: 60+ DK: 4... Dragon: 60+ Whips: 2... bflitny1
I'm going to be testing another way of doing barrows on Monday, but I'll see what you all think first. Basically using veracs on the 4 mellee bro's and Karil, then puttin a canon in ahrims tomb and not wasting any prayer on him. Of course the problem comes when you get ahrim in the tunnel as veracs won't do much to him and you can't use your canon in the tunnel, so I'm thinkin of bringing some super restores, but only 1 or 2 for every time I bank as well as black d hide or karils and some darts or something, knives maybe, I need suggestions on this one please. CampbellMC
alot of people dont pray on ahrim so y would you do it first? so you can waste a dose? My order is: Dhorak Guthan Karil Torag (dont pray) Verac Ahrim (dont pray) I found that way does my the best because with 3 dose i can usually do all them and save 1 or 2 doses for tunnel. bflitny1
I'm saying don't use prayer on ahrim in his tomb, you can just stick him on the other side of his grave and he can't touch you, but the canon can still hit him. Note:I may be getting some pics for my guide on Monday too, can't play until Sunday night, but it's the drop party on Sunday, so i'll be busy. Drops: Barrows: 60+ DK: 4... Dragon: 60+ Whips: 2... tommy69801
Another nobody trying to become famous with another worthless guide... Couldnt agree more Leesters guide already covers just about everything to do with barrows and everything it does not cover is in guides such as Satenza's and Swordwiz's. Also all of the authors of the above guides at least thought about what they were posting and made the effort to check their spelling

bflitny1
Come on people, I tried, stop complaining, at least it helps some people. And to be honest I would prefer some constructive criticism rather than just, "Leesters guide is better," which I already know. Drops: Barrows: 60+ DK: 4... Dragon: 60+ Whips: 2... pkthedreamer
Is it true that slayer dart isn't affected by your magic bonus? If it is, then using monk robes might save a bit of prayer but I don't think so. Prayer would still drain fast in the mounds and tunnels so it wouldn't really matter I don't think. 200. swordwarior
Lots of barrow guides has already been posted... Another one wont change anything True, there are already guides for every level, i dont see the need to bump this considering that most people that responded to this guide wernt supporting it, im sure you proud of what you wrote but i think maybe you should make a guide for something thats needed a little more than this... bflitny1
Just to clear this up people, monk robes are better than zammy robes, by a long way when you look at the prayer bonuses, use monk's robes over zammy, however I still prefer using my ahrims for its defence bonus, it's also not a bad idea to mage with your melee armour all the time, saves you bringing any robes and doesn't affect the damage you do with dart, also saves a lot of food in the tunnel. And I didn't write this just to write any guide, I'm a barrows maniac and it's just about the only thing in RS I really know something about. So don't tell me to write a guide about something else, I'll do that when I stop doing barrows...NEVER!!!! Drops: Barrows: 60+ DK: 4... Dragon: 60+ Whips: 2... bflitny1
Tried out using a canon and leaving it in ahrims tomb, DON'T DO IT!!! It is a huge waste of canon balls and you'll end up spending more on them than you would on simply using prayer against him. Drops: Barrows: 60+ DK: 4... Dragon: 60+ Whips: 2...
