yeah, I hate these kind of lags. Once I was playing CS at the same time as I was playing RS. When I lowered down CS and went to play RS, a dude wanted to "share" a "stolen" account with me and he even typed the password and account name. When I opened another browser to check the name on the highscores and later opened the RS window, the whole screen was white! I waited 30 seconds, and nothing happened, so I had to restart RS and therefore I lost the password :P The dude mentioned before didn't give me a second chance... (he knew something was going on :P)

I had something similar for a while. I opened another window to check forums on tip.it. When i got back to rs the entire screen was white. I was in middle of prison pete event. I fixed it by minimizing window, reopening, minimizing, etc. etc. Dunno, sortof similar. Oh and ginigvitis is where your gums get infected and your teeth fall out

Either lag, or you need to update some software, or you need a new computer, or you need to restart your computer...

I've had these random problems, and they all get fixed from a simple restart (I usually hibernate my computer because it takes forever to log in)
