your reason for remaining f2p?

Featured Replies

1. What made you remain f2p?

Like so many others, no convenient payment method; I don't have a credit card or a reliable enough income flow to get one, and I don't want to pay $7-10 for the other methods.

Besides the money issue, there are too many other reasons to keep me away, though one of the biggest reasons is the sheer size of p2p is a bit daunting. I mean, it's what, 4, 5 times the content of f2p now? Even if I did have a credit card, I'm too intimidated by members to want to get into it now...I wouldn't know where to start and then I'd hate myself for wasting all that time paying to do nothing.

The other major reason is I don't play nearly as much as I used to, so even $5 would be a waste for me at this point.

2. Have you ever wanted to be member?

I actually was for a month as a Christmas gift from a friend, but that was back when RS2 was still in Beta phase. Nowadays, there are some things I'd like to do in Members, but none of them are really worth spending the money, and I don't know enough about the rest of it to really get all that excited or interested.

3. Do you plan to be a member in the future?

Maybe. It depends on a lot of factors beyond the ones I named here.
