April 20, 200620 yr After recentely starting members i've been struggling to jump start my herblore skill... I have done Druidic ritual and Jungle potion for herblore levels, but am stuck at 10, without a good idea of how to pregress from there... I have a number of unidentified herbs, and have been making attack potions with a few guams i have got from chaos monks... My problem is i cannot seem to get enough for good exp... Without buying the guams right from other players, how can i progress my herblore skill best ? Thanks, CoolChris999
April 20, 200620 yr Kill low lvl monsters (like lvl-2 men) they drop low leveled herbs. Droolman's item Guide | My RuneScape pictures | My barrows videos, with download link!Free Image Hosting! | Free File Hosting!
April 20, 200620 yr If you can stomach farming your guams/maries, then doing so is a fair option. Alternatively, you could start Zogre flesh-eater and make Relicym's balm...this is also quite a pain, but it's much more reliable than parking at the chaos druids and praying for guams. Other than that...well, buy them or go back to the chaos druids, that's about the best I can suggest. Edit: It'll take about 112 (4 invos) of relicym's balms to get you from lv 10 to lv 22 (stat restore pots, from harralander). Relative to mucking around with guams, that will go "fast", but you won't walk out of it with the fat wad of unids you'd have after getting guams from chaos druids/al kharids. I suppose I should mention that I didn't pick lv 22 for any fancy reason, only that you'll be able to make use of the first four herbs at that point. Anywho, your call.
April 20, 200620 yr If you go to crowded druids, most of the players killing them will be dropping guams, marrentills, and tarromins. Just kill some druids and pick these up when they appear on the floor. Check out this cool browser gladiator game!
April 20, 200620 yr Actually Chaos druids aren't that bad. But remember to keep all your unID herbs. Nothing beats the feelin (I think) when you get to a new lvl, and you have enough herbs banked to almost make it to the next :D Also, if you've done shades of Mort'ton, it's better (in my opinion) to make serum 203 with tarromin + ash, and saving your limps. Also farm any patches you have available. The combined efforts of farming and chaos druids should get you lvls pretty quick. Ty Jeppoz for making it. Thx to the Pup for finding it after it got lost :D And thx to Kill_Life and Turtle for the ava. Stoltenberg, 22/7-11: "We will retaliate with more democracy" In remembrance of Oslo/Utøya. May we never forget, nor be pulled down to the level of the beast
April 20, 200620 yr try killing men or al-kharid guards - they both have EXACTLY the same drops, and both drop herbs very often - no vials or potion ingredients though. and, as siobhana said, keep every single unid. and making your own vials, while boring, could save you enough money to be able to buy a few guams / marrentils Back by popular demand! And I guess I just wanted to tell you, as the light starts to fade, that you aree the reason, that I am not afraid, and I guess I just wanted to mention, as the heavens will fall, that we will be together soon if we will be anything at all.
April 21, 200620 yr Author Thanks all for the useful posts :) i'll definately be considering trying them !! I'm slowly making it up the levels now, so ty for the help... CoolChris999

September 19, 200619 yr I have over 100 of each unid above rannar, and over 500 rannars. What I do: Goto Edgeville Dungeon, goto the wilderness part with 3 items. Kill thugs, collect natures and all herbs, when you're full, run to bank and deposit everything, then repeat. Once you've got 100+ guam, use them all at once. You should be able to ID your other herbs, and use them after that. That's an easy 20 herblaw I'd say. Ruby Amulet/Rune pure in training.Current :: 66a/47d/79s - Goal :: 62a/44d/90s
