Led-Zeppelin
These are the first sigs I have made... If you've seen them before, they're all got little peices I have learnt from tutorials over the last few days... My first sig: (I know this one is a little over the limit, so I mayaswell save it as .gif My second attempt, havn't added text to it yet though: And this is the one I just finished making for my friend: Keeping in mind this is like my third day of photoshopping, please post comments and suggestions, thanks :). Oh, and also, is there any good sites to get patterns and textures from?

vmser
First one is cool, don't really like the others though. Not bad, for a beginnner.
Demoris
The first is the best of them, although I don't feel that the border fits it well.

Hmmm yeah, I've been trying to find a good texture site... One with some good metals, I think I'm going to have to try and make my own..

The_Jeppoz
very good first tries, expecialy for the first. I'd personaly get rid of the metal beveled border cause it's gonna be well abused after the tutorial :) But that's just me. If u wanna keep then use a gradient rather than the dark zones..cause they look a bit odd to me. Overall Good job, 8/10 Keep it up mate

Led-Zeppelin
Hmmm, this may sound real dumb, but is there any way to draw simple straight lines?

The_Jeppoz
Hmmm, this may sound real dumb, but is there any way to draw simple straight lines? Pencil tool + Shift botton make straight lines in the 8 main directions. Else use the pen or pattern tools...might be a bit boring but give good results

How do I work the pen tool, I select two anchor points, now how do I fill it in with colour? It's not my fault I'm dumb, honest .

About the pen tool...u have to right click - stroke i think...(i don't have english version). Remember that if u use the Brush to fill the track u must go on the brush menu and check if the trait is continous, else you'll only stroke the anchor points
