Pizzas - Wheres there respect?

Featured Replies

I am cooking level 56 and proud of it, so a few days ago I made a batch of anchovy pizzas. I said in the bank:

"Selling anchovy pizzas"

No-one responded, I've ben making pizzas for a long time. And they are the best f2p food, yes, they are the best. "But swordies are surely the best food" I hear you say, well no, your wrong.

Lobbies: 12hp (250ea)

Swordies: 14hp (300ea)

Plain pizzas: 14hp (0ea)

Meat pizzas: 16hp (0ea)

Anchovy pizzas: 18hp (0ea)

These are typical market values, as you can see pizzas have absouloutly no value.

Can you see where the market has got it wrong? :P

I'd be interested to hear your views :wink:

You're not getting my point. If you had an IQ above room temperature you would.

Anchovys take several bites to actually heal 18hp. So you can just consider as taking trouts with you but 3 times more then your inventory can handle. Therefore shouldnt be worth alot more then trouts but 0gp is a bit too low yes.

Thing is, people prefer foods that heal hp all at one rather than a bit at a time. A pizza is eatten in what, two bites? Thats 9 hp per bite. I personally think thats pretty nice, but people still prefer the 14 hp at once for a Sword. Plus, swords and lobs are much easier to get and cook, and thus more people sell them, thus there is an established price.

Xell, for training = quite good, but most people don't buy food for training...

Wildy = Swordies or Lobs

Lob = 12 and Half pizza 9.

3 is a big difference!

Eating the thing in two bites simply takes time, more time than you'd want it to take when you are fighting against other players.

True, but when you're getting your wagon owned in the wildy and you've forgotten your tele runes, those lost rounds are crucial.

Pizzas take their time to make, so people don't buy and sell often or at all, if someone makes is for their personal use.

I love pizzas. They're wonderful for monster training. I go to the bandit camp and make meat pizzas and train there.

But I'm pretty sure the lobster/swordfish market is aimed at the pking community, who likes seafood over baked snacks.

I am a tree.

If you can't make any money off your pizzas I think its time to drop the "If its not there in half an hour its free" offer. Or hirer better delivery drivers

Seriously I started training with pies and stews (I had a load of pie dishes and bowls left over from some early crafting training), but then It occured to me all this bother so I started concentrating on fish and only making new foods as they became avaliable, now I just catch and cook fish While the fancy food is nice to make once or twice and a redberry pie in the right place can make a pretty penny. I keep coming back and using the fish.

THe other problem I have with complex food is I eat half the ingredients by mistake while trying to make them,usually the ingredient furthest away from the point I'm currently at.

Most people buying cooked food, are using it for pking. The quick burst of food is crucial to survival. Not to say pizzas aren't yummy!

W00t for anchoivies pizza :D

Ive been at bandits for some days making anchoivies pizza (u can fish anchoivie, buy the paste and theres a tomato + cheese respawn) and giving them away when im full.

If ur Pking on world 7 and need food no mather the kind (woot for pizza) and that im on, just come to bandits and Hyt me :P

Thanks for the comments, I've heard that in pking its best to bring 1 bite food, but it seems monster killers like the higher healing two bite food. So if theres any monster killers out there who want anchovy pizzas; contact me. 8)
