I really do think that Jagex needs to make more sence out of prayer. Sure its great for a side power, but in MY oppion. It would be cool to see people with prayer books, in monks robes, going around in wildly or training prayer aka monk.

 

 

 

1) Power of Ivisablity?

 

 

 

I think this would be awesome if for about 30 seconds you could be invisable. Creatures would not see you, so you could pass by more powerfull ones for a certain amout of time.

 

 

 

2) God's Protection

 

 

 

This would be fore like, close in combats, or far away if being attacked by a mage. If you are hurt, you can heal yourself every 1 minute or so. (Maby heals 20hp or something like that)

 

 

 

3) Force Field

 

 

 

This would be like a round shaped ball (the color of what side you are on, Guthix Zammy or Sara) that protects you from getting maximum damage. Any attack set on the force field, it would bounce off of you, and hit them. This would last for about 20 seconds.

 

 

 

 

 

4) Curse Attack

 

 

 

This could be for cursing them, or just plain killing them. You would inquire the power of the god you are on, and you would throw, like a mage, a force fire ball, or some attack.

 

 

 

5) Force Fire

 

 

 

This would be a blazing streem of fire that would hit them, causing them to loose 5-10 hp each time, dependign on what lvl you are.

 

 

 

I have more ideas on this, let me know if you want to hear them...

I think that would make killing someone waaay to easy. And then, the combat triangle, wouldn't be a triangle anymore.

I think it was more your posting tons of ideas with one sentence telling how awesome the idea was and not explaining anything, all in separate topics when they could've been in one, but I digress.

Why not just use protection prayers to get past a creature? In wilderness they can hit through protection, but wilderness taints all prayer (or is supposed to), so the invisability would also be tainted in the wild. I see no reason for this prayer, as it is basically identical to protection prayers with the exception that you're still visible...

Why use a prayer that takes the place of food? This serves basically the same purpose as Rapid Heal, except at an accelerated rate.

A ring of recoil that stops you from being hit? I hope it requires 99 prayer, because in 20 seconds, the combined hits from the opponent and your own hits could easily decimate whoever was attacking you.

Why make prayer into magic? A prayer to make magical attacks more potent might make sense, but a prayer that acts as an attack is completely out of the current use for prayer.

Prayer barely relates to combat when it comes to timing, prayers are constant while attacks take time. This 'prayer' would be much more efficient as a spell, but you could just use a normal spell for the same purpose.

I think if you have any more ideas, it would be nice if you put thought into them. I don't mean that the above ideas were made up with no thought, I mean to put in the dynamics of how the idea works. That was your problem with your other ideas. You don't simply post "I think a flying pumpkin of doom would own", you post "I think a flying pumpkin of doom would own because it would enable people to... blah blah blah blah".

 

 

 

I know you said not to mention your other ideas, but you need to understand that the reason people disliked them is because you offered little to no explanation, posted numerous topics when you only needed one, and basically ignored everything this forum is meant for. These ideas were explained more clearly, but still seemed to be simply basics, which really doesn't help. They also severely unbalance the whole combat system of RuneScape, so I doubt they'd be added in.

if it was a square, i'd die. it wasn't even a even triangle in the beginging(sp?) but an isocoles one. the "square" would really be an 4 sided, oddly angled quadrilatarel. this would also make people kill eachother in like 8 secs, and all you needed for a great pure is high def, and higher prayer

Prayer is REALLY powerful to begin with. Try killing a person with 80prayer in wildy, come tell me about it :o

 

Prayer is good, it is powerful, maybe a 20% Prayer for each of the 3 main stats would be nice, or maybe 15% for mage and range
