Errors in the screenshots

Featured Replies

Hey, have you seen the "in-game screenshots" in the RS main page? Did you notice that there are 2 errors there?

1st error:

whiteknights6fx.jpg

"Join the White Knights". Now, the free players CAN'T join the white knights, it's members only! oops :?

2nd error:

shores3fj.jpg

Look where it says "Take A Sea Cruise To Distant Shores". It should say "Take A Sea Cruise To A DISTANT SHORE". The F2P can just go to Karamja, nothing more.

Every path you have trod, through wilderness and through war, has led to this road...

1st error: I think it refers to Black Knight's Fortress.

2nd error: I think the F2P screenshots refer to the F2P area.

Yes, but we can't really join the white knights... We would need a white armour and sword and the F2P can't get it...

I think the second pic shows a picture for going to entrana or whatever the law alter island is called...

The first picture was probably a mistake. Send them some feedback...

It's called Advertising. They're intriguing the visitors. When you see that you can JOIN THE WHITE KNIGHTS you're thinking "Hey, I'd like to be a Knight. This game seems like fun. I may as well give it a go". By the time you're ready to do the Black Knights Fortress or the Knights Sword quest you'll have experienced a broader amount of the game which will allow you to determine whether or not you enjoy the game and want to continue it further. It's no error, it's very intentional. They're trying to draw in the casual onlooker with intriguing wording of the possibilities of their game.

Also, who are you to not call Karamja distant? Perhaps in Runescape that amount of space is a long way. You never know how these Runescapians will think.

I don't think they ever said the screenshots only included F2P things.

There are two sections of screenshots.

One F2P and one P2P. He was looking at the pictures of the F2P information. You'll see the shots on Page 1 and Page 4 of the F2P Screenshots.

Then again, F2P also can't "talk to the oracle" on the White Wolf Mountain, just thought i would point that out too.

Look at the chat boxes where the names are supposed to be there's nothing and it doesnt look edited.

"Pies are good!"

Wise.

Those screenshots are old, Jagex really needs to update them.

No longer playing Runescape, I caught the WoW bug.
