Ok i worked on this for a while with ms paint, havent made the background yet. i think its ok... but i dont like how it turned out.

 

 

 

 

 

 

I did everything with mspaint, i stole the colors from other sigs, i dont use ps for px sigs so i dont have all the textures and pallets and bells and whistles.

 

 

 

I still dont know what kind of background im gonna use and im thinking about changing the font and the placement. Any advice on how to make my guy look better, a good idea for a background, or a better idea for a border would be appreciated, thanks. :D

lol thanks, i still think biox has the coolest pixel sig on these forums. I was kinda trying to get the same look but without it seeming cheap and copied. If you zoom in on his and some of the other ones you can tell they arent using ms paint, they have all kinds of layer and textures which is why i think they look better. Any ideas on a background? or a better border? i still think my guy looks too... "stiff", i dont like it. :?

I know its plain lol, thats why i keep saying i need a background. And i like the way hes holding the sword out, like hes walking into a fight, exept he doesnt realy look like hes walking... :? But anyway thanks again, that armor took forever to make, its supposed to be black dragonhide incase anyone couldnt tell, in which case i realy need to work on it lol. arm is a little off proportion and the biceps need to be bigger than the forearm to correct that. the helm covers up too much of the face so you cant see any of the face so he would be swinging blindly. that sig is awsome by any standards. if you kept practicing you could easily master true pixel sig making it look like

Thank you traxion! :D Thats what i was looking for, i KNEW that arm was screwed up, it was one of the hardest things to do other then the glove. Im gonna try and fix that. And the helm is like that on purpose, i just made the face kinda generic skin tone and the helm is supposed to make the face look like its behind a shadow not blinded lol. Maybe i could change that. Im still not sure about a backround... maybe a graveyard in the wildy or some rnadom part of a dungeon.

I love that blocky font. :D Im workin on a couple different backgrounds now... trying to come up with ideas. I need to fix... Curve in the sword;too overdone, his arm; out of proportion, and maybe if i have the time make the shield bigger, i think it looks to small.

1. take out the part of the drag med on his face, add eyes, nose and mouth, drag meds dont cover the face.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

2. sword needs to be curved more and the arm does look kinda gimped. You might want to try the sword facing down (in the ground) and have him leaning on it or something.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

background- Maybe have a few different monsters coming up behind him, like a skeleton, a dragon, an ogre and a goblin or something. Then in top left corner have your name with .... after it, and then in bottom right put"....has no fear"

Ok arm is fixed, sword is better, shield looks WAY better, and im about 1/3 done with the background, its realy hard to do but its the funnest part. Once i finish the background ill host it and make some final tweakings.

1. The med is suposed to be like that, i know the in game med is way different i used to have 3. :lol: And there isnt enough room to make a face realy, i dont think it would look very good.

 

 

 

2. Your 100% right about the arm and sword. The blade is slightly curved and the curve at the tip isnt as pronounced so im working on that, but i like the way hes holding it, hes suposed to ready to fight.

 

 

 

3. Already got a sick background, my favorite place to train. (free imaginary cookie to anyone who recognizes it when im done.)

dude thats SwEEt... but the lava is very weird, it looks like red glass thats been shattered, and at the very left, u did no shading and u just made a wall, that looks weird, but aside from that its awesome

awesome 8) 9/10 until u add the lessers. put a small one on the left and a larger one on the right, to balance out the text.

OOPS i forgot about that lol thanks mexe, and i think after i do that im done, i cant do the freakin lessers :?. My second one will be better, but i just can figure out how they lay textures like on biox's sig and some of vlad's. They look so sweet...

dude thats awesome, i doubt its ure first time! thats really good 9/10 i think the face is a bit wierd and his head is a bit small, but apart from that, the bloody awesome!
