No_OnE Posted May 11, 2006 Share Posted May 11, 2006 I started RuneScape in the middle of March of this year. I quickly grew to like mining. As I would mine, however, some high level idiot would come up and mine all the ores before I could. I would ask him if he could go somewhere else or at least share the ores and he would say, "Shut up you stupid n00b." I would get mad and switch worlds. Stuff like this also happened in other areas of the game. I would also see it done to other people. Infact, just yesterday, I saw some lvl 42 guy go up to a lvl 30 and say, "I could pwn you. Your just n00b who needs to go get a life." I reacted fast and asked him to come to wildy with me. I'm 22 lvls higher then him so he then called me a n00b and left. The guy I defended and me are now friends. Anyway, I have learned from those high level jerks that annoyed me when I was a "new-born" taking my first steps in the RuneScape world. No in real life I don't have a slain bear to sling over my shoulders. Yes, I'm that skinny even if I no-life it for years in basements. No, I can't shoot a gun. Yes, I can win any other strategic video game you have never played - because I probably have, ahahaha. And yes, I also have brown eyes, yet one of my eyes looks different from the other. And yes, I'm completely oblivious to the [real] world around me as I constantly engineer new solutions to daily problems in my head. When I get hungry, all that isn't food can wait. When I'm sleepy - nothing is of any priority in front of sleep. But at any other time, I never slow down. Never give up. Never Surrender. Risen_The Posted May 11, 2006 Share Posted May 11, 2006 I remember the days on F2P when all I did was mine coals. :oops: I always mined at barbarian village coals until I had 60+ mining. I've made some great friends there, and it was pretty fun. Mining is fun, but don't get annoyed when some guy mine your rock faster, its how the game is done. But yeah, you find those jerks everywhere in the game, with no discrimination in level or just what they do - from skills like mining to minigames like Castle Wars. I go do something training what ever... and people start talking to me... then get mad when I don't respond... alot of them start flaming "FU noob" stuff like that... anyway what I'm trying to say is...
