"You aren't holding any bones!"

Anyone who has actually aquired this spell through the mage training mini-game knows how much time patience and money goes into obtaining bones to peaches. The Telekinetic maze almost drove me to insanity, however, I managed to prevail and just muster up the determination to get this spell. I decided to train on fire giants to celebrate my efforts and braught along a few nat, earth and water runes to cast the spell. I run out of lobsters and think "Time to test this baby out! .... what the?". I read the message "You aren't holding any bones!".

Thats funny, I could have sworn these things are BONES, albeit, of the bigger variety. I checked my inventory to see the big bones still in my bag and then proceded to bury them and tele out of the brim dungeon. Now I know that bones to peaches now require regular normal bones to work and understand that they're still great spots to use it such as dagannoths or dust devils. However it's rather silly for a spell to claim "Turns bones into peaches" when you can't turn "bones" into peaches. Oh well you can't win them all.

actually, BONES are the ONLY thing you can turn to peaches. it never said anything about dragon, big, or any other kind of bone. it said BONES. The regualar kind was inferd inside the context of this. go tell jagex to stop messing with my mind!

It only took me a few hours, but I did think it was going to take alot longer and I thought I would use many more runes, so yeah I bought way to many. I guess my math wasnt great because I was tired.

And yeah it sucks that you cant use it on all bones.

I submited it as a bug in the jagex bug system 1 month ago and guess what..... no reply except the auto "thank you for.....bla bla..."

This is outrageous.

"Converts any bones in your inventory into Peaches" (rs Knowledge Base)

I know,this is not a bug,but its a lousy design decision!!!!

Anyway, for those of you who slayer, its also very effective when slayering infernals in the slayer tower.

I sure hope they don't change it so ALL bones can be changed into peaches, this would make Guthans even more useless, and only usefull on Gargoyles, Nechs, and Abbys :?

Guthan is allready now useless for me

I still don't understand why are people spending 12milions just to train, I understand if they buy it for Fight cave, but why are they using it at bandits or dagganoths?

Guthan is teribly slow if compared to whip + b2p

also it has much smaller def than torag + whip + d sq + b2p, and it's still more expensive

For slayer, I always use safe spots and range, If I would want to train cmb I just go to daganoths, that's much faster exp

Interesting, I always thought any bones would work. Still really good spell for dust devils, even though I'm probably the only lvl 101 who's never been to dusties (and I have the slayer lvl).

hey gonzlar would you mind posting a brief guide or something small about getting bones to peachse like a couple of tips and tricks?

Well, most of how to get the spell are already in tip.it's guide to the mage arena, however, I was very suprised that they missed some key tricks that i've picked up along the way that really sped up the process to getting pizazz points. Anyways, I probably will make a guide to Bones to Peaches and how to obtain it quickly.

You must have a very short attention span if just getting Bones to Peaches drives you insane (I've goten a Mage's Book, and almost have Bones to Peaches and Infinity Boots).

IMO if any bone could be used Guthan would in fact become utterly useless, which is just plain wrong :? .

Fullmetal Alchemist, you will be missed. A great ending to a great series.
