May 21, 200620 yr when your clicked inside the game-window it wont close because it has giving alt+f4 a new function...now..if your clicked on the outside boarder, alt+f4 will close the window
May 21, 200620 yr this might have been introduced my jagex cause alot of old scams relied on people telling others to hit that during combat so they'd exit and lose their stuff. finally back in the game! send me a message, all my old friends quit I laughed so hard I pooped my thong. :lol:

May 21, 200620 yr It's also because you can define keys in Java and various other programs. Once you've clicked on the Applet the shortcuts will take over. This may only work for certain browsers though because some Windows code may take precedence over the Browsers/the Applets own commands.

I had one guy try to convince me that if I dropped my obby shield and hit alt+f4 I'd dupe my shield. Idiot. I reported him and walked away.
