Meatloaf
Welcome 8-) In this guide I will explain where to range lesser demons (effective spots). This guide is generally a f2p guide, but you can use it as a p2p guide if you feel like it. First off: You should have at least 60 range before ranging them, or it will be ridiculously slow and not effective or worth it. Equipment: your equipment is shown below. If you want an alternate armour choice, use Green D' Hide body and a coif, or whatever you want (this is just a suggestion) You should use rapid attack style so that you kill it quickly and don't waste time. Bronze arrows are only 60k per 10k, a cheap yet effective solution. After you are there, There are a few ranging spots, but only 2 of them are effective. Also, you might want to pick up your arrows (makes it so that you can use eachone about 4 times, maybe more) I've heard that using curse also makes it easier, but in my opinion if your 60+ range it doesn't make a difference. This spot is somewhat effective, the only problem is that you can only range 1 demon Good spot, many demons to range, and lots of them to kill. However, you can get hit. But it's simple to go back. Just move back a space, and look if there's a demon up there, because it will interfere. Make sure somebody is there, or it's dead. Those are the most effective spots to range lessers for effective training... in my opinion, there might be better, I dont know :? . Thats all folks :) ~Cody Roy

Gunnit7
is ranging lessers not self explanatory? To someone who has done it many times before, yes, but to someone who has never done it before... no. Pier pressure? I can just see you being threatened by a wharf or jetty because you're a teleporter. Yes, I can see a large wooden wharf uprooting itself from the shore, walking over to you and slapping you in the back of the head for teleporting.
nam
It's actually better to climb the rope and go outside to range the 2 lessers there. You can use the trees to hide behind and usually there aren't as many people there.

Scars
Decent guide you got there. It should be helpful to people going there to Range for the first time. There are other spots when the lesser stops attacking you when you have been there for a while, but they are not the best, only good when you want to go for only 1lesser. Goobore
Well, this is a good guide in that it shows you many safe spots to use but it's missing 2 of the biggest helps of all: picking up arrows and Curse pulling. Here are some suggestions of things to add: 1) Include the 2 lessers on Crandor Island. There are safe spots to the north and east of their area. It's less crowded since it's behind the "dragon slayer" secret door. 2) If you pick up your arrows then you can use each one about 4 times! This saves an enourmous amont of money over time. 3) You can range 2 lessers at once if you shoot one twice and then the next one twice and then return to the first one. As long as you don't have a health bar above your head you can cycle through as many targets as are available. 4) "Pull" the lessers over to you by casting Curse on them. It doesn't matter if the Curse sticks or not but is does make them walk over to you. Once they reach their final position, you then start to shoot them. When they die, all of their loot and your arrows are in a nice tidy pile in front of you. You can cast the Curse from your safe spot or cast and then run to your safe spot. So, you never need to bring any food because you never get hit! I have killed hundreds of lessers on Crandor and never needed to bring any food at all. Hence, you can wear full green dragonhide for the max range bonus. 5) I prefer to use the Rapid style with cheap arrows. The difference in max hit between Bronze, Iron, Steel, etc is, IMHO, not worth the extra cost. Hope this helps.

Only 2: 1) You can get fish faster and easier at lessers in dungeon 2) You can pick up fire runes... I do that alot :) For crandor you can train mining I guess, doesn't matter which ever one you use. "You can cast the Curse from your safe spot or cast and then run to your safe spot." And risk getting hit? Curse IMHO is a waste of runes... unless you wanna train mage of course :D . I wear runechain so that while I grab my arrows the demons dont hit damage, so I don't need to grab food 5- Rapid + Bronze is what I do, most effective, I'll add that to guide to

The difference in max hit between Bronze, Iron, Steel, etc is, IMHO, not worth the extra cost. Hope this helps. 1- Ya, but it takes longer to get food. Well, my whole point is that you don't need any food. Hence, the distance to the nearest food source is irrelevant. 2- Forgot to add that  , thanks for reminding me The actual formula is Arrows/(1-p) where p is the portion of arrows that you pick up. So if p=3/4 then 1/(1-3/4) = 4 3- Whats the point of ranging 2? Multi-combat in a non-multi-combat zone. ;) Then when they both die close in time, the whole area is clear of demons for awhile. That makes it safer to move around if you want to. 4- Only makes a difference if your lower than 55 range really. Huh? I don't understand your comment. "You can cast the Curse from your safe spot or cast and then run to your safe spot." And risk getting hit? Risk? There's no risk at all if you know what you are doing. Typically I am 1 or 2 steps outside the safe spot when I cast and have more than enough time to get back in. The curse doesn't have to "hit" in order to pull the monster over so you can cast while in full ranger gear. Curse IMHO is a waste of runes... No, not at all. Curse pulling -- prevents you from leaving valuable arrows all over the fight zone. -- lets you position the monster where you want it to be. -- lowers it's defenses by 5% -- provides a single pile of all arrows and loot to pick up. ...unless you wanna train mage of course :D . I wear runechain so that while I grab my arrows the demons dont hit damage, so I don't need to grab food See that's just it, If you pulled with a curse the arrows are just outside your safe spot with no demon around. Plus, if you stay in 1 region, then after 15 minutes or so the demons won't attack you anyway. Then, Defensively, it doesn't matter at all what you wear since you never get hit. So, I wear the full green for the Range attack boost that it provides. 5- Rapid + Bronze is what I do, most effective, I'll add that to guide to Yeah, there's not too much difference between Bronze, Iron, and Steel. lol
