Personally, I think that you should only be able to pick a certain number of skills to have, like maybe 5 (not including combat) thus making more people dependant on others, although this would be best added when they add clan support, or never at all. May 28, 200620 yr they'll probably make the skill thing scrollable, and add another row I also think they will make it scrollabe (like spells have a scroll) 70+ all skills. 17/24 skills 75+
May 28, 200620 yr most likely they will do what they did with prayer and make the icons smaller thats not likely that will make the skills hard to read. plus, how are you gunna show things like 103/99 with smaller icons

May 29, 200620 yr Why is this question always asked? It just blows my mind how many times this has to be brought up... Its called a scroll bar guys... geez. I just don't get why people just can't see that. Its simplicity at its finest. Worst case scenario is they might have to resize the skill icons, but they more then likely wont. Scroll bar. May 29, 200620 yr wow, so many posts for such a simple question... Itll be one of 2 things most likely: 1.) it will be changed into a scroll bar so you can scroll down to find it. 2.) the little skill tabs will be shrunk down so they can all fit. It will most likely be the first one.

Ok, let's just take everyone's skills (except combat, like you said) And make them choose 5 of the following: Prayer, Cooking ,Woodcutting, Fletching, Fishing, Firemaking, Crafting, Smithing, Mining, Herblore, Agility, Thieving, Slayer, Farming, Runecrafting. If I had to choose 5 skills to keep (and drop the others) I'd quit. Don't care how many more skills Jagex came out with, I would quit. The only players that would be left in runescape would be those with pures. The skill restrictions are one of the major factors of why I chose runescape over others MMO's. If the position had been changed (Runescape being 15 dollars and others being 5) I would easily pay more for runescape.
