Well, this is what happened on the most recent SODB trip *long read warning*:

 

 

 

After the first trip (Brdy posted about that one), we - Fearspudgod, Lord Rodoyle and co) decided to go again. Heath In Uk needed to recharge his crystal bow and buy another one for one of us. He had been lagging quite a bit earlier, but none of us even though about the possibility of what happened next: He lagged, dieing to a trap and lost millions in cash and items.

 

 

 

We all felt sorry for him, and when he understandably left, we decided to dedicate the next trip to him. This time Deangut, Buddybear and Golvellius joined us, making sure that chaos would rise.... :wink: Not going into details, but we all got attacked, safespots forgotten and teles happened. I got a pair of Skeleton Bottoms, when I realized only Buddy and me were left. I was attacked by both Supreme and Prime and was eating and ranging like crazy! Was out of food when Prime died, only to reveal this:

 

 

 

 

 

 

I said "Tele", and arrived at Ecto with 30 HP... We all met up, and after cheering a bit, we decided to give the staff to Heath (who as I am writing this, still doesn't know we got anything, because he logged out :lol: ).

 

 

 

Deangut left, but the rest of us were all ready for another run. Again, we messed up... (Seems to bring us a bit of luck!) After finally (!!!) getting there, everything ran smoothly. Buddy and Spuds played around with Rex, and Lord Rodoyle was handling Supreme with the greatest of ease... Me and Golvellius ranged Prime, and I got the kill. "Omg another Mudstaff!!!!!!", I shouted. The mood went from good to better, and after 2 mins, Buddy called "Zerker!!!".

 

 

 

Now, was this the best trip ever? :D We all seemed to think so, when Golvellius suddenly got very quiet after a kill. Usually, he tells right away what it drops, but this time he waited for a short while. Could it be? Had he finally got Dagg King luck? At that point, the only thing he could brag about from DK, was being the most effective victim. :twisted:

Well, that was today's trips.

 

Thanks guys!!!! I had the best time, and 3 Mudstaffs and a Zerker (and my 2 Skeleton Bottoms) is an above average loot... 8-)

I actually survived a trip to bring home that mudstaff.

 

Of course I died the other two times. :P

Since I lost me ring of wealth, I went helmet less and used a spare ring.

 

It worked out in the end. :D

Cocacolabottle: We're not a clan, just some Tip.it friends who enjoy slaying dangerous beasts. I think the average Cb lvl on a Dagg King trip is a bit on the upside of 100, but the most important is not to mess things up. Being able to recieve "commands" is a to-be-or-not-to-be thing...

 

 

 

RAHK: I forgot to say, we split the big drops of course! :D My share goes to "The Official Savings Fund to Laila's Full Guthan" - currently stored in Miscellania. :wink:

Omg, I wake up this morning and see this, wow. I would have to die right before all the drops start. I must say i was feeling pretty down after last night, but i had lots of fun with our DK trips i went on. I can't wait to go on more.

 

 

 

I thank all of you for dedicating that run to me. Sounds like you all had a blast, i wish i coulda been there. We defintly need to do some more trips sometime. I'm up for it whenever you all are.

 

 

 

You all are the best by the way, i coulda got back on my feet by myself, but lets just say that i woulda been doing lots of fletching.

lai forgot to add what my special drop was, :) once buddy tele'd i was left alone with rexie.. I killing him once only to see a RUNE 2H i was so gitty.

I've gotta say the dag kings are one of the funnest things in the game to do. It's slightly chaotic and exciting, and there is always the chance to lose a few mil or make a few mil.

i'd rather fight dag kings then go get more crystal bows. Sheesh, i hate my internet connection. but thx to lai and the guys i didn't lose anything. You all are life savers in case i haven't said that before.
