Well i was bored this morning and hopped on to rs. I thought what to do, then it hit me! Barrows would be fun. So i hop onto the main forums, buy 32 p pots, 1 k deaths, 4 k airs, and head down to canifs bank. I withdrew my ecto, lumby tele runes, spade, 5 p pots(2 trips to chest), guth book,food, mage bow, and 150 rune arrows.

 

 

 

I go through the shortcut, and make it to the mounds. I finish the first chest no sweat. Then i start my second. I kill dhorak and verac first, then i head to guthan. Oo guthan tunnel. I then finish the others and head down to tunnel. Inside the very first room i kill a rat, then i walk over to the door. Guthan pops out so i go back into the other room. Another guthan, so i run back into the room with the first guthan. when i walked in another guthan popped up! triple guthan i was like o $#@! and then they both hit me... now im standing in fally with just 3 items, rune plate, d hide legs, lava battle...

 

 

 

Ah well i stil got 2 mil, only lost around 100 k max, anyone wana buy 27 p pots? 9.3 k ea =p

maximum amount that i have lost during barrows was about 400k...

Why bother leaving the room? Just pot up and kill the fool. Dont waste trying to find a safespot and then kill him. Well I am done with ranting, but I hope everything goes better for you in the future.

Alright, i stepped down into the crypt and went north to the door, i went in and guthan popped up, so i walked back into the ladder room and another popped up. I semi panicked and stepped back into the room with the first guthan, then a third popped up and i died...

Jeez that stinks Socc. Well, ya only lost about 100k. I still have that adamant helm and mithril chainbody you gave to me and made me wear. :oops: If you want me to sell those, add the cash to my existing money, and buy some pray pots from you I can do that. :wink:

I've had that happened to me to, 2 veracs and 2 guthans popped up lol.

 

I just walked far from them in a room and just dealt with the one that came to me. The others soon dissapeared.

The reason I quit barrows was nearly the same.

Inside the tunnel it's not multi-combat, so even if there were 3 guthans, you'd only be fighting one of them at a time. So was your hp low when you were panicking? Because guthans can't hit THAT high. :wink:

well then 1 hit the same time, i saw a 17, 24

that sucks almost same thing happened to me i opened a door out comes ahrim i go back through door to turn on pray and here comes another but i killed both instead of dying cuz ahrim way easier than guthan

dont mean to be a downer but yes they can both attack you ive had doubles a couple times two normal monsters just cant attack you and he probably had like 50 health down there what i usually have dont keep it at max usually and monsters randomly hit you so im pretty sure guthans max hit is 23-26 so if both hit high wouldnt be surprise if he got killed considering he probably had medium health at the time

its kinda goood in a way...when a brother dies, he drops something into the chest, so if u killed all 3 guthans u might of had more chance:p and it happend to me 2 runs in a row...lol
