May 31, 200620 yr at level 77 construction! I've seen several people asking about making your own planks and I just noticed something. While building a workbench I saw the option to build a workbench with lathe at level 77. A lathe is a woodworkin tool used to shape the wood and could be used to make planks. I bet thats what it will be used for. Just my theory! What ya think?

May 31, 200620 yr Ugh not really, it is used to make a flatpack of any item. Basically a noted version of the item and then you sell it to other people so they can have it. A reflection is just a distorted reality held by glass and your mind.

May 31, 200620 yr I was hoping the Kbase had something to say about it but alas. But it would be extremely useful instead of paying a horde of gold to get 27 of them.
May 31, 200620 yr lol a lathe is also only used for round stock, which planks are not. you would need a planer or something to make a plank. what makes me mad though is that you only get one plank from one log, what do they do with the rest of the wood?
May 31, 200620 yr I seriously doubt a Lathe is not used to make planks. A lathe is used to round out peices of wood (bats, bowls, etc.). Yes I take woodshop, doesn't mean I'm stupid. Btw to make a peice of wood flat a planner would be used.
May 31, 200620 yr Author Yea, I know what a lathe is conventionally for. We made tons of stuff with ours in shop class this year, but I was jus goin out on a limb here :P More or less hopeful thinking here. I really want to make my own stinkin planks!
