dark_ice Posted May 31, 2006 Share Posted May 31, 2006 at level 77 construction! I've seen several people asking about making your own planks and I just noticed something. While building a workbench I saw the option to build a workbench with lathe at level 77. A lathe is a woodworkin tool used to shape the wood and could be used to make planks. Basically a noted version of the item and then you sell it to other people so they can have it. A reflection is just a distorted reality held by glass and your mind. ktmcf121 Posted May 31, 2006 Share Posted May 31, 2006 lol a lathe is also only used for round stock, which planks are not. you would need a planer or something to make a plank. what makes me mad though is that you only get one plank from one log, what do they do with the rest of the wood? We made tons of stuff with ours in shop class this year, but I was jus goin out on a limb here :P More or less hopeful thinking here. I really want to make my own stinkin planks!
