Featured Replies

i think it would be cool if mods could turn on or off there silver crown thingy. like if it was off they could go undercover and if some1 breaks the rules or something they can get them and they wouldnt no its a mod.

This has been discussed many times at the official forums, jagex said that it's not technically possible. So no, it wouldn't work.

They are already undercover. Because if you right click on them next to their name there isnt a crown. But when they talk there is one next to their name. They already have a way to cope with this problem on how to trick people into talking badly. But when the mod actually talks the person who was acting up has a rude awakining 8-)

if mods could hide their crown then people will claim to be mods when theyre not and they will attempt to scam people

If you have read some FAQ's on mods, you could find out some interesting things....

But anyways, no, the Jaggies say that in no way whatsoever can the mod crowns be hidden

My friend and I were talking about that, for all we know there are already undercover mods that even p mods don't know about.

Called secondary accounts, the Jag mods sometimes makes one to investigate without getting spotted, but they usually use their mains.
