June 2, 200620 yr Does anyone else LOVE this movie. It tells the good and bad times of the best company, Easy Company. My favorite guys are Lynn "Buck" Compton and Bull Randleman. Thoughts about the movie accepted. Join BsK today.
June 2, 200620 yr Great movie have watched it a few times now. Moved to Music and Movies Forum ;) ~Alduron
June 2, 200620 yr I saw The Breakup last night and Vince Vaughn made a comment the movie. It made me laugh. Never seen it though...I probably should. :P
June 2, 200620 yr It's a mini-series, not a movie. Anyway, it's pretty good. I've got it on DVD and I like it. Signature by Maurice SendakWhen the stars make you drool just like a pasta fazool, that's amore!
June 2, 200620 yr yeah its a 10 episode miniseries, each episode is about an hour long. really, really good if you like ww2 stuff. it was still pretty enertaining for me, and im not really into the whole war thing.
June 2, 200620 yr Author Thanks for moving this! It is very bloody. And I feel for all of the men of Easy. Liberating that concentration camp. That got to me, I almost cried. Just to see that puts hatred into my heart for every stinking Kraut during WW2. But Ron Livingston was the funniest guy on there. He drank that something-69 in that last episode so much...lmao! Winters is still alive, it's amazing. And Malarkey was funny. He was always after that Luger for his brother. That was dedication. The book is good too. I would recommend this movie to anyone at least 10 and older. The blood can get to people, I've seen it happen. When "Doc" Roe shoved his hand into that guys stomach, that was gross. And Liebgott couldn't stand to say that all of the Jewish had to stay in that camp, he sat down and cried. That movie makes me want to salute them. Join BsK today.
June 2, 200620 yr I've always wanted to watch it. I read the book and did a project on it for English class last year and I loved it :D
June 2, 200620 yr I watched the series when it was first on the Tv and loved it. I cant remember most of it but I can remember its brilliant and pretty darn gorey. I recently got the boxset but unfortunatly it wasnt the tin :'( And no lol why do you always want to get stuff from John Lewis. Its over ̣̉300 more then than what i paid. John Lewis is a great, great shop.
June 2, 200620 yr That movie makes me want to salute them. Same here. It was funny when they were still training in England, with the strict mean Lutenant (he was wasn't he? The leader) got to the fence and got all pissed. Then the guy inmitates the General lol :P "The cry of the poor is not always just, but if you never hear it you'll never know what justice is."
June 2, 200620 yr Author Captain Sobel was a jerk wasn't he. COuldn't read maps. That's a crying shame for an army officer. Bill Guarnere was a jerk too! He got his leg blown off, along with Joe Toye. They were loading Joe on a stretcher when Bill goes by on his and says "Told ya I'd beat ya back to the States Joe!". Made me laugh. Join BsK today.
June 3, 200620 yr Once of the best mini-series around. Makes you appreciate how difficult it all was. You'd have to have balls of steel to be a medic, running around while motars etc are falling.
June 3, 200620 yr Starring the Ginger Prince, Damian Lewis :P It's a brilliant series. It's one of the few war films that portrays how horrendous war is, yet showing how friendship and sheer human will persevers in even the most extreme circumstances. This is how much you all raised for charity. Thank you.
June 3, 200620 yr Author Winters was the best person of the whole company. The 9th episode got to me personally. It was called "Why We Fight", and that concentration camp was just absolutley horrendous  . And like Uldric said, you would have to have balls of steel to do that... Join BsK today.
June 3, 200620 yr Didn't see all the episodes when it was on tv ages ago, but I really enjoyed watching the ones I managed to catch. I should probably buy the DVD set sometime.
