Just in case anyone was still interested in seeing what I'm doing lately, just now finished this piece. An entrance in a palette workshop elswhere, it uses only 6 colors.

Shiver me timbers, its good to finaly finish something.

It looks like it just kinda... Fell out of the 60s.... o_O

Don't really like it, but that's probably the colours; if you used silvery metallic colours I think I'd like it better...

Anyway... Congratulations on finishing something.

Had no controls over the colors I used- hence the pallete part of pallete workshop. The point is to do the best you can with a crappy pallete.

That's awsome, one of your best artworks. Very well done with only two colors.

Well the way I saw it, it consisted of mainly greens and reds in a dark background. Doesn't matter how few or many colors you used though, just however it turned out. :)

Completely agree. :) It's very cool...

Could do with a tad more constrast, but that might just be my monitor.

Thanks guys.

Further clarification on the colors: They where meant to be bad, they were chosen to give the participating artists a challenge as to how to use them.

I totally agree.

Get on Yahoo Jab, I have the whole summer and no one to talk to about pixelart. :)

Really nice! Nice use of few colors ^^

For it being a pirate is even nicer! :D

Wow, excellent use of dithering, I really believe that texture and perspective.

The spring thin is very nice and same goes for the head. It does appear to be one of your best. Your improving, which scares me. Soon you'll be the best pixeler in the world.

It's pretty good, good use of colours, but it looks a bit, from the sixties or something, next time try making something futuristic.
