today i let a couple of people in my house so that they could look around for a bit. after they had the grand tour and after playing a couple of games in my game room i left without booting them thinking that they would get booted out after i left. i was cutting logs so that i could bring my lvl up when i got a message from one of the people saying that they were still in my house. O_o

 

 

 

i tried using the expel button and went into my house in construction mode and he still said that he was in there. i told him that that wasnt possible since i was in construction mode and to prove that he was in there he told me my exact house layout.....

 

 

 

how the heck did he stay in there after i went in my house in construction mode several times? im thinking it might be a bug resulting from jadex trying to fix the expell option after the massacre. has this happened to anyone else?

i didnt tele out. i just used the portal. i assumed that me leaving that would cause all of the people that were in the house to be booted out. i guess i was wrong. :P

i dont think he could have been playing me as i have never meet the particular person before i let him in my house for the tour.

They can also join you in construction if that happens, they just need to ask to be taken to you by your servant.

i think they are just typin so fast they mess up

From day one, the owner has only had to let his guests in. After, he can leave however he wants and his guests will remain. I do not view this as a bug, but a feature. It allows a player with advanced construction to let in a friend to use what is in his house, and then the player can leave again. Otherwise, the player would have to be there the whole time, not necessarily with something to do, which would be pretty annoying, I'd think.

Quit a good point Saidin, though sometimes when people just leave, guests are booted from the house, so it can't be an offical feauture, in my opinion.

I have also noticed that people can remain in your house as long as you dont expel them or log out, but if a person leaves your house, they can't go back in unless you are actually at your house.

I don't think this is a "bug" basiclly people stayed inside. Like in real life, if you lock your house and leave your friends inside that doesn't make them leave automaticlly, they just use the door, but once they use it they can't access the door again until you are home, ringing the bell won't work since nobody's there.

Its nothin like that. If you leave ur house, (using portal or however) the people stay inside. If you return, they are no longer in your house but a mirror image of it. Occasionly they can get into construction mode and screw around with the mirror image of your house. But none of it is retained. So no, your analogy is wrong. :twisted:
