Hi guys, I recently achieved a rune defender, and I thought I'd share all of the defender's stats for those of you who are wondering.

So, now the obby shield isn't the only shield slot thing that has a strength bonus. The rune one has just as much as it, in fact. It only has half the defense, but what it lacks in that it makes up for in attack stats. The attack stats of the rune defender are 250% higher than that of the Zamorak book - which makes that obsolete for anyone who has this new weapon.

Yep but those are easily replaceble, defenders require more effort.

Dont have a pic but they kinda look like a rapier

Oooh, neat.. Don't see how a rapier can defend well though.. :lol:

Haven't you ever heard of any two-sword fighters? In Scotland, the used to duel with a dirk(small dagger) and a rapier. I believe England even used the style for a while. The idea is in defense, you will push your opponent's longer blade(rapier) away with your small blade (dirk)while stabbing the guy with your longer rapier. It works pretty well.

 

These Jagex guys really do pretty well :-)

But in RuneScape.. Do you REALLY think a dagger is going to defend you from a Dragon?

By gaining a total of 130(?) with your attack and str to enter the warriors guild

 

Then you have to do mini games to get tokens

 

Take these tokens to the top floor and trade 10 in to enter the cyclops room

 

Kill Cyclops untill you get a bronze

 

Show the lady outside the door and repeat
