Peronix Posted June 13, 2006 Share Posted June 13, 2006 Hi guys, I recently achieved a rune defender, and I thought I'd share all of the defender's stats for those of you who are wondering. EDIT: Updated with pics of each defender (dirk) and with stat windows. Enjoy :wink: Bronze Iron Steel Black Mithril Adamant Rune So, now the obby shield isn't the only shield slot thing that has a strength bonus. The rune one has just as much as it, in fact. It only has half the defense, but what it lacks in that it makes up for in attack stats. The attack stats of the rune defender are 250% higher than that of the Zamorak book - which makes that obsolete for anyone who has this new weapon. SLOWSTORM Posted June 13, 2006 Share Posted June 13, 2006 Haven't you ever heard of any two-sword fighters? In Scotland, the used to duel with a dirk(small dagger) and a rapier. I believe England even used the style for a while. The idea is in defense, you will push your opponent's longer blade(rapier) away with your small blade (dirk)while stabbing the guy with your longer rapier. It works pretty well. These Jagex guys really do pretty well :-) When you are learning, you are growing. If you stop learning, you stop growing. If you stop growing, you die.
